Update: Had a chance to stop in the bakery today to pick up some doughnuts đ© and cookies. I purchased 2 crĂšme sticks, 2 - Apple fritters and 2 - nutty doughnuts đ© along with 2 - pumpkin orange frosted đȘ cookies, 3 - molasses cookies and 2 - seven layer bars. I bought a half a dozen doughnuts and 8 cookies and the total came to $19.50. Sadly, in my opinion, the Apple Fritter tasted like doughnut batter and not like a true Apple Fritter. The crĂšme and nutty doughnuts tasted delicious. Sadly, the seven layer bar tasted stale. I should have known better when I saw the chocolate chips looked white. I got put off a bit because I swear I saw little fruit flies in the case, but I could have been wrong. It happens! Not a big deal! I asked for a cup of coffee and they only had the old coffee remaining, but the employee asked me if I wanted a new batch made and I said no! The server was friendly. They charge a fee to use a credit card, so the charges the merchants are paying to the credit card company are being passed on to the customer. Parking on the street is easy. I wish I knew the baking schedule to try and get fresh baked versus a few days old to see if thereâs a difference. I would definitely come here again for doughnuts. It is one of the better bakeries on the area.
PREVIOUS VISIT: This is the second time Iâve tried to come to this bakery for doughnuts and the bakery is closed. Please update your hours on the website to stating you are closed on Mondays. Never mindâŠI updated your hours on...
Read moreBoy did we get lucky with this place. A bit of a different story. My daughter wanted to thank my oldest pal who lives in Davison for his help in her purchase of a car at the end of September. Heâs retired GM and went above and beyond. We know heâs a donut fan and enjoys the local shops so we looked up online and found Davison Home Bakery. Since we live in Florida we needed to have them delivered, but didnât see any delivery options. So we called the bakery and struck gold with Debbie. When we explained the desire to have these delivered (our friend lives less than a mile away), she volunteered to do so when she finished her shift. Thatâs hospitality (and deserving of a small reward for her troubles). We sent a variety with Debbieâs help in selection and received an immediate report describing the fantastic donuts and pastries that arrived shortly after lunch. Mission accomplished and we canât thank the bakery and Debbie enough for making it happen....
Read more$1.60 cookies, $1.90 doughnuts, $6.00 bread are a few examples of prices. Half off blueberry pie was $9.50 (making a fresh one $19). I bought a everything cookie which was good and made up of oatmeal cookie base, raisins, and white chocolate chips which provided the sweetness. I enjoyed it, but I wasn't sufficiently impressed to buy more at the prices. There are no prices posted or price stickers on anything making it necessary to ask about every item you may be interested in or simply shell out whatever they are asking for when it gets totally up. Personally, I hate shopping when I can't see prices and need to ask about every price. After a few times asking, I usually have had it and simply lose interest in shopping at places that do not price items no matter the business the place is in. They do have a Name of the Day that is posted on Facebook which entitles people with that name to a...
