I've only dealt with them as far as getting my passport, not receiving mail through this post office. But getting my passport at this location was painless. I've heard horror stories about other post office locations (I'm looking at you, Humble P.O.), and how difficult it is to get your passport. I did have all my paperwork ready, all my copies made, pictures done, so I know that helped. It took me longer to drive there (from Atascocita) and back, than it did to get it all squared away. The lady at the counter (Cindy) also helped my husband get our kids' passports a couple of weeks ago. And it was as painless for him as it was for me today. I got there about 9:30 (they open at 10 am), and got in line; I was the first one. It is a little confusing because when you walk through the doors into the post office, the sign showing where to start the line for passports only ends up behind you almost immediately after walking through the doors. Luckily, my husband had already warned me about that, so I didn't end up in the line for the counters for regular post office business like the poor guy who didn't realize it until he got to the counter and the employee told him. She called me up right at 10 am, and I walked out at 10:05 am. So read the instructions carefully, have all your paperwork and copies ready, and you, too, can brag about how painless it was to order your passport. Unlike some of the other P.O.s...looking at...
Read moreOne star is generous. I've had several issues with this post office both with my home and workplace. They dont care about the townsfolk and are jus rude. Closing the doors early, not taking packages during hours and nasty employees. Driver's have been to my home plenty of times, yet I was told a package was held at the post office at the homeowner's request? No one came to my door or spoke to me so that's a lie. I get not wanting to do your job but people need their mail and bills. This is beyond ridiculous and the fact that nothing is ever done is absolutely disgusting. I've left complaints, yet it continues. Better off just dealing with your post in a PO box elsewhere. Update: Got a call from the postmaster asking to elaborate on my complaint where I mentioned there were a lot of issues with our post system. The kicker? It was 8:30 PM at night on a weekday. I dont want to spend my hours off talking about issues that are ignored regardless, which I told him before the call ended. If it matters, make time during the work day or follow up the next day. Or email. That information was available in the...
Read moreThey don't even deserve a star. Only one lady is nice that works there. I had to deal with a rude self woman. We are from Missouri working down here and had an expensive package delivered to our Rv park we are staying at. The owners of Rv park didn't have the missed you packing slip left. So I went in the next day with my online receipt and tracking number in hand. When I didn't know the address off the top of my head and told her to hang on while I look in the email she made me go in the back of the line. Instead of waiting one second while I scrolled up In the confirmation email. They would not give me my package! So I went online and I had to schedule a redelivery for the next day. I did that with instructions of which RV out of the ten here is ours. Checked online the next day shows redelivery request and the no further updates available. My package has not been delivered called the 1888 since the Dayton office is already closed and they won't allow you to speak with customer service since tracking is "up to date". I will pay the extra to have UPS or Fedex deliver my packages...
