I called to inquire about appraising multiple items of jewelry, the lady I spoke with seemed kind and set me up with a same day appointment. I walked in at my appointment time with my jewelry to get appraised. Tracy came over and looked at all of my pieces. She then went to take all of my pieces to the back and said āso 3 rings 2 necklaces. No, 3 rings and 3 necklaces.ā That made me a little nervous to begin with. I said āwhere are you going with my pieces?ā She explained that she normally brings them to the back to appraise them, but she can still do it on the floor if I didnāt want them brought back. I said ok, and was worried I mightāve come across a little brash so I followed with āIām sorry, my father used to be a jeweler and made a lot of these pieces and he is now deceased so Iām very protective of my jewelry.ā She seemed to understand. She then said āIād have a real hard time parting with these items if my father made them.ā Which I then said āIām only looking to sell 2 items, those of which were not made by my dadā regardless if I was selling them all or not, it wasnāt an unprofessional comment to make. And it was followed by āIām sorry Iām having a hard time doing it out here, people normally trust me.ā That was unnecessary. As someone who has never heard of this jewelry store until I found it on google, no I donāt trust you. As a business owner she should be trying to earn my trust and in return it would make me a repeat customer. Then after another minute of examining my pieces and seeming very fidgety she told me that she couldnāt appraise them out on the floor, that their was ātoo much going on.ā Mind you there were 2 other customers in the store who were both being handled by different associates. She told me to come back after the holidays and maybe she could appraise them then. Super unprofessional, and judging by how her demeanor changed once she started appraising my pieces on the floor, she was very nervous and fidgety, I donāt trust this place one bit. I hope that was worth losing a...
Read moreToday my fiancé and I went to Masterpiece Jewelers to find our wedding bands! We have already gone to commercial chains with high hopes, but always left feeling like we were no more than numbers. Today on the other hand we found this family owned store, open for almost 30 years and absolutely adored our experience!
We were welcomed by Wanda with a big smile and she consulted with us on the types of styles we would be interested in. Once available, Teresa then stepped in to show us different pieces they had available for us to pair with my ring, and for him to try out! During our entire experience at Masterpiece Jewelers, there wasnāt a moment where he or I felt pressured to purchase. Both Wanda and Theresa were patient with us and ensured we would leave with exactly what our vision of perfect rings were.
The overall experience was something I would recommend to anyone in search of beautiful jewelry beyond just wedding bands. If you are in the market for necklaces, rings, earrings, etc, please do take the time to go visit the team at Masterpiece Jewelers, you will be grateful you chose to work with their team and feel supported that professional jewelers reach beyond just the sale and make sure you leave with items you genuinely love.
Huge thank you to Wanda and Teresa! So excited to see what other pieces we find...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI worked with Tracy and Stacy to have a custom engagement ring made for my fiance, and could not be more thrilled with how it turned out. She loves the ring, and it's truly one of a kind. On top of that the customer service was excellent. They guided me through the entire process, and provided me with a physical resin model of the ring at every design iteration.
Several months later, when I finally proposed, we had to have the ring resized. They made this process quick and painless. Moreover, they remembered me and were eager to know what she thought of the ring.
UPDATE: I had such a good experience having the engagement ring made, that we went back to have our wedding bands designed as well. Tracy provided the same level of care and attention to detail this time around. Which, I'm sure we didn't make easy. She walked us through going back and forth between designs on both of our rings. It's also worth noting that my fiance's band was designed specifically to stack with her engagement ring, or to be worn on its own. Once we finally made up our mind on what directions we wanted to go, Tracy quickly finalized some CAD models, and began the process of creating the rings. Both of our bands turned out wonderfully, and we are now into the hardest part... Waiting until the wedding...
