I’m not sure how this place has 5 stars!! Maybe just an off night but it definitely was not worth the hour drive to check this place out. My wife and I absolutely love crab boils and wanted to try a place not in our area, somewhere new. So we drove the 55 minutes to this restaurant. We walked in and wait about 5 minutes for them to clean a table for us to sit. We waited about 15 to 20 minutes for a server to come greet us and get our drink order. By the time they finally made it to the table we all knew what we wanted to eat. So we gave our entire order. My wife and I ordered the buy one pound get one pound free, crab and shrimp. My daughter ordered buy one pound get one pound free, crab and crab. My meal and my daughter’s meal came to the table with in 10 minutes. We mentioned to the server we were missing a meal. She said let me check and never came back to the table. We stopped 2 other severs several minutes later mentioning to them we were still missing a meal. 45 minutes and the 4th server later my wife’s meal made it to the table and my daughter and I were almost done eating. My daughter said her crab was ok but the shells were rubbery and hard to get the meat out. My crab was chalky and the shells were also rubbery and very hard to get the meat out. The shrimp was pretty decent. There sauce was also decent. My wife was having the same issues with her crab. She got frustrated and didn’t finish her dinner. Now on to the atmosphere. The music in the restaurant was definitely way too loud. And because the music was so loud the other tables had to be louder to hear each other talk. The restaurant is the size of a small pizzeria and not really much room. As we were finishing up our dinner the place got very very busy with about 10-12 people waiting inside and 5-6 waiting outside. There really wasn’t a place for them to sit. We waited for about 30 more minutes for a server (after asking 3 times) to bring our check so we could leave and someone could get our table. Very uncomfortable sitting there done eating waiting on your check and people waiting to get a seat staring at you. Definitely not worth the trip and not worth money! The servers definitely looked lost and inexperienced. If the food was better I wouldn’t have wasted my time with reviewing this place because the lack of service now a days seems to be all to common. But the experience definitely was not 5 star or worth the $150 we spent, but like I said maybe just...
