Title: "A Tropical Oasis of Relaxation and Community in South Daytona!"
Review:
As an avid connoisseur of café culture, I'm always on the hunt for unique and enchanting places that serve more than just a great cup of brew. The Green Turtle Kava House in South Daytona is one such place that truly exceeded my expectations.
Tucked away like a hidden gem in South Daytona, Florida, Green Turtle is the epitome of Floridian charm and warmth. From the moment I entered, I was transported to a tropical oasis, a paradise adorned with local artwork, lush greenery, and a calming ambiance that immediately puts you at ease.
The star of the show, of course, is the Kava. Sourced and prepared with immense respect for tradition, the Kava here is second to none. With a pleasantly earthy taste and a mild, relaxing effect, it's the perfect antidote to a stressful day. Their menu also offers a variety of other drinks like coffee, herbal teas, and kombucha, all served with the same attention to quality and taste.
The staff at Green Turtle is the heart of this charming haven. They greeted me with genuine smiles and were incredibly knowledgeable about their offerings. They took the time to explain the benefits and history of Kava, ensuring I felt comfortable trying something new.
It's not just a Kava House, though. Green Turtle is a hub of community and culture. With regular events like open mic nights, poetry readings, and local musicians gracing their stage, itâs a vibrant and welcoming spot for locals and visitors alike.
The outdoor seating area, nestled under a canopy of trees strung with twinkling lights, offers a perfect setting for a quiet afternoon of reading or a lively evening with friends. And when the Florida sun sets, the magic of the place truly unfolds, turning into an enchanted, twinkling sanctuary.
In an era where we're constantly on-the-go, Green Turtle provides a refreshing break from the chaos. It's more than just a Kava House; it's a slice of tranquility, a spot to connect with others, and a place to embrace the laid-back, warm spirit of Florida.
If you find yourself in South Daytona, do yourself a favor and visit the Green Turtle Kava House. It's an experience you won't...
Read moreThis is my go to spot to enjoy kava and bring my special needs dog, the staff are usually great! My only complaint is that the last 2 times I've come, there's been a child that gets him riled up. So I don't think I'll be returning with him after the parent or whomever said I can't have my dog in there acting so excited. I don't want my dog to be at risk from other people's behaviors setting him off, he's usually a really good chill boy after greeting everyone. The owner has told me he's perfectly fine to come in if he's excitable and jumpy, but this time he wasn't there, so he wasn't welcome. Love this place, just don't like kids and rude adults that justify wild child behavior. My dog was raised around kids but never encountered one so loud and whiney or one that jumped from couch to couch to avoid him, its confusing behavior for any animal to interpret. Sorry if my comment offends anyone. Kava & kratom flavors are great though, the community is awesome & very friendly, this was just my experience the last 2...
Read moreThis is the first Kava bar I ever tried and now Iâm hooked. The drinks are pretty strong and you get your moneys worth. The vibes are good! For me it was an intimidating atmosphere at first and I would get my drinks and go. Now that Iâm a regular here and actually stay and hangout, Iâve gotten to know so many people that I enjoy seeing! As someone who doesnât drink alcohol, itâs nice to still have a âbarâ for socializing. The best part is they have BOGO hours throughout the week, as well as the clover app that helps you earn rewards. So although I choose to spend way too much of my money here, this helps offset it which is great! Just FYI - this is a dog friendly establishment and although most of the dogs are very sweet, some of them are large so if youâre afraid of dogs just a heads up. Last thing - eat before you come because they only have chips and slim Jimâs and you donât want to drink this stuff on an empty stomach. There are multiple restaurants to walk to in the plaza though, so...
