I used to love to come to this location for lunch, but yesterday changed my whole perspective of this restaurant. I have an hour lunch. They are very slow in preparing food orders and they have young adults working their restaurant who don’t know how to properly conduct business. There was a young man who worked the register to help take in orders, who then proceeded to go and help prepare meals with NO GLOVES on (during a pandemic.) I went up to the counter to explain to a young lady what I had just witnessed. She proceeds to tell me that he has on gloves, I explained to her that I watched him put on gloves after prepping an order with no gloves. She tells me sorry and proceeds to the back area to “re-prep my order”. I continued to sit and wait for my order. (I ordered a Sunrise Sunset and Chicken Bacon Ranch flatbread on a tortilla instead). There was a lobby of about 20 people and they cleared all orders while I became the last person sitting in the restaurant waiting for my sandwich. A young lady approached me asking me what did I order. (They forgot to re-prepare my meal and also forgot what I had ordered). I reiterated my order to her. She says okay and prepares my order. 10 minutes later, I get my food and proceed back to work. I spent 50 minutes in their store waiting for a smoothie and a sandwich wrap. As I drive while I eat on my way back to work, I realize that the sandwich I got was not what I asked for. They gave me a flatbread sandwich with just chicken, cheese and bacon. This did not include lettuce, tomatoes, and ranch, which are included in the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. It instantly made me upset again and I had no choice but to eat what they had given me at this point. I called the manager and left a voicemail on her phone and she called me back to explain that she will replace a smoothie for me. At the time, I thought it was at least something to replace my horrible experience, but I later realized that I should be compensated for my entire meal. I came into the store today (9-2-20) to speak to the manager to negotiate a total meal replacement and she spoke over me several times telling me that they replaced my meal and a smoothie is all that she can give me. I did not appreciate the tone, over talking and complete combativeness from the manager, so I expressed that I will no longer eat at this location for lunch any more. She says “okay, fine”. I feel that this is TOTALLY unprofessional because I eat at this restaurant almost every day and give them my continued business, only to be treated so unfairly. Read moreVery disappointed in what I experienced tonight. I called the store at 8:45pm because I was unable to place a mobile order, but the line was busy. It kept saying that the store was closed even though the app and google both said 10pm. My family and I decided to make a trip since the location is than 5 minutes away from our house. When we arrived, the open sign was still on and there were 3 young girls (1 who appeared to be on a personal call with the company’s phone) and the other 2 were cleaning the store. Once the one who was on the phone noticed that my family and I were in front of the store she hurried to the front door to lock it. My husband decided to call while we were still parked in front of the store to see if they were indeed close. The young lady that answered said that they were. My husband proceeded to ask if a manager was available and the one who locked the door then asked for the phone. She went on to rudely say how they don’t have a manager and their schedules tell them when to close the store, not the hours that are placed on the door. At this point I told the young lady that I would be back the next day in hopes of the store owner being present. She kept cutting me off so we decided to hang up the phone. While we were backing up, she started walking up to the door in an aggressive manner, screaming profanities (not realizing that we had been able to hear everything from our car, that’s how close we were parked). She then proceeded to flinch at the door as if she were in my face and was going to hit me, again not realizing that we are still watching her from our vehicle as we are backing out. If they wanted to close early to go home, cool, I understand. But the way these young ladies carried on tonight was absolutely disgusting. My advice to the store owner is, if you’re going to have a staff full of young teenagers, at least have an adult manager on duty. The trop smoothie app sent my order to a location over an hour away from me. Noticing this mistake, I called the wrong location to tell them not to make it and asked how I could get my refund(the app charges you automatically upon order placement). The nice person informed me that I would have to go to the correct store near me and that they will be able to make my order and issue a refund if necessary. Great. Head over there and they say they cannot make my order or give me a refund, the store workers here were doing the best they could do since I could hear them calling their boss and their boss denying refund/order fulfillment. Now, if I want my food I have to place an additional order (so now I’m paying double)to the correct location and call the tropical smoothie app center or whatever it’s called for the location. I argued that the store before stated that the app has no authority to issue refunds. They say there is nothing they can do and to call the number. I call the number, and like stated before, the app has no authority to issue refunds. Noticing that I’ve been getting the runaround they give me the corporate number to call and to get my refund there. “Corporate” was not as pleasant or helpful to deal with as the previous workers I encountered😑, but by the end of the call the person I was talking to stated they could only make a request of the refund. At this point, being very upset, I calmly stated how unhappy I was with the overall customer service to which the person stated that her job was only to make the report and said goodbye.
