ALDI — Local services in Decatur

I was impressed🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 with tha new remodel on this store , looks great , spacious and extremely clean. There was a nice relaxed feeling in this store , it reminded me of tha mom and pops small town grocery stores of yesterday that are practically non existent these days and that's a shame . Tha employees were so polite and friendly and liked their jobs which thay did happily to a T👍 Shopping was easy and organized , nice flow to tha store layout , nice Wide aisles which I appreciate , fruits and vegetables were seasonal and fresh with good variety , meats looked fresh as did tha dairy products , plenty of variety altogether . I greatly appreciated tha reasonably low prices too. I have decided to shop here First before I go to tha other stores close by , I saved so much money shopping here , I found wat I had on my shopping list without sacrificing quality or value 😉 in my opinion, I think tha other stores should adopt tha shopping cart idea thats practiced here , would keep their lots nice and neat All tha time , keeping their employees n tha store to b available to customers when needed due to tha size of these super centers , which I Do Not like shopping n because of tha size and lack of employee help . I'm so pleased I decided to stop n at Aldis , not only did I save a whole lot of money , I saved a lot of time which seems to b as valuable as money these days . One star because of the short white female manager with dark hair. Very unwelcoming attitude. Asked for help finding items since it was my first time there, she acted like she didn’t want to be bothered. Got to check out, where she clearly didn’t want to be & had a baby in my cart with 3 cases of water. I asked her if we could just use the cart I had to put the items in so I didn’t have to transfer my child and heavy items; she was very obviously irritated. Threw all the items back into my cart & called someone over to finish checking me out. Very busy store with only one lane open (she was irritated she had to be the one to open a second). This is the only place that I can fill up a cart to the brim and walk out of the store spending around $100. The guy who came up with this idea for a grocery store definitely is a genius. Lots of great food. You won't find any of the big brands but what they offer most of the time is just as good for way less money out of your pocket.
