I ordered ahead on the Sonic app. I arrived, and as usual, checked in at one of the kiosks. I waited 30 minutes as I watched the "in the kitchen" icon spin around. I finally went inside to check my order. There was a note that said "ring bell" I looked the bell was broken. there was a smaller note that said please push little black button. I finally found the button and pushed. I heard the ring, but apparently no one in the back did as 3 of them were on their phones. I rung again, no luck. Finally a girl came out of the back, walked right past me and into the kitchen. I waited a couple minutes and rang the bell again, then again. She finally came out and said "I'm sorry, I forgot you were out here" I then asked about my order and told her I've been sitting in stall 5 for over 30 minutes. She asked who took my order. No one said anything. After 5 minutes or so she comes out with a wrinkled, ripped bag and said "I didn't know it was a call ahead order". The tots, poppers and sandwich were cold. The burritos were only lukewarm. This is my third bad experience at this Sonic location. I'm afraid it will be my last too. We used to love eating at Sonic, but since moving here to Decatur we have yet to have a good experience at the E. Prosperity Place location. I'd give zero...
Read moreThis was our fourth visit since opening. The previous visits we chose to remain in the car. The food is amazing. However, I fell during this visit and broke the joint in my big toe. I reported it and the person on duty said the incident reports were at the owners home so she wrote my information down and explained the owner would be in contact the following day. I have since been to ER and to an orthopedic specialist. I'm in a "boot" up to my knee and I'm on crutches. This happened at 5:15 on a Monday and today is Thursday and I have yet to hear from this person. I'm told this person owns several Subways in our area as well so I'm sure they have some sense of how to proceed if someone is injured on their property. Read moreAwful experience. To start with, hardly any of the outside screens work. Second, the employees are too busy playing around to be able to do their job. When we finally got our food, it was cold and some of our order was missing. We tried to get them to correct it by pushing the red button... No one would answer. So we went through the drive thru and it was even worse. We waited at the window for almost 20 minutes waiting on the rest of our order. We could see inside through the window and they were all dancing and acting foolish. People were leaving the drive thru by driving around us and honking. So we finally knocked on the window and they brought our food. It was cold and nasty. We will never come back to this establishment. I urge anyone who reads this to stay away from this...
