This time they actually got my order correct. Every time I go, I generally say I'm not going back because there's ALWAYS a screw up of some kind. One time they even forgot to make my order and I sat and waited over a half an hour 🙄 I like their fish, so I go back. I go every couple months. Time before last, every one going thru the drive thru was being told to go inside, the drive thru was closed.... Went inside and ordered along with about a half dozen other people. Being the nosy person I am, I asked what was wrong with the drive up? I'm thinking window was jammed, register not working,.... The lady looked at me like I was crazy and said WHAT? Others spoke up and said they too were sent inside. Turns out, that gal was the manager and there was nothing wrong with the drive thru. Apparently the person working it didn't want to 🙄 As I said, last time I was there, they got my order right. I think it may have been timing tho. if I would have been a little later, probably would have been messed up. Reason for thinking this is, as I was waiting in the drive thru line I was people watching. Three young people were by a car, two of them wearing Culver's shirts. They were sharing a cigarette amongst them and the young man reached into the car and brought out a smallish dark colored bottle and poured some into his Culver's cup. Ok, they may have been smoking regular tobacco and the bottle may have contained water.... But I'm guessing when they went back to work orders got...
Read moreMy family chose to go to Culver's today. At the drive up, the gal said that they were short staffed and to plan on 15-20 min wait to get food. We went ahead and ordered. The gal taking the order got it wrong. When I corrected her, she rudely said "that's not what you said"... But it was. Everyone in my vehicle heard me order it right. We got to the window to pay. That worker was very pleasant and apologized because we couldn't even pull up beyond the window, they were that backed up. (We should have left before we paid.) While we waited there, an employee posted a sign saying that , due to staffing shortages, the dining room was now closed. They were only operating thru the drive up. We pulled ahead as the cars ahead of us got their food. We watched customers being turned away. Finally, an employee came to our car and shoved our salad and burgers in our car, not even speaking. There was no apology for the delay. I looked at our clock and said " Wow. That took an hour and 15 min. Not 15-20 min." She rudely said "oh well!" and huffed off. I get that they were under staffed, but we won't be returning anytime soon. Again, it was a Salad and 2...
Read moreI hate giving negative reviews but out of our last 5 orders, 4 have had issues. This isn't a one off I can continue to overlook. That and the fact that their survey site crashes when I enter my code. So we here.
Plus, tonight was a bit of a meme so I kinda have to share. Lemme pop off.
Drive through, they have me pull around and wait. Cool, routine for Culvers. Few later, they come out with the food and say "Your order had the chicken right?" I confirm, grab the bag, no chicken. How in the actual??
But, I already left because I trusted them, oof to the $. I told myself "They literally asked if I had the chicken, the chicken has to be in the bag." Hilarious, yet evil, trick to play Culver's 258.
Anyway, they consistently forget items pluuuus the soda machines need cleaned or syrup changed or something. Don't get da Dr.Pepper, womp womp.
Look y'all just be weary. It's become just another expensively tragic stereotype of fast food mediocrity. Quite frankly, this might be our last straw for this location, note: they did send straws but the DP...
