Somehow I have not left my favorite bookshop a review yet (Shame on me)! Eagle Eye is the PERFECT bookshop. Prepare yourself for a novel:
The booksellers are always amazing, friendly and each have their specialties so you always know who to ask about a subject (each section has little signs to let you know who is who). I would mention my favorite bookseller, but then I'd just be telling you everyone that works there! đ â¤ď¸ I've been able to order a TON of books from them (you can order online or at the counter) and it's only usually a few days until I get a call that the book is in (highlight of a week!!).
The shop itself is very well laid out with clearly labeled signs, and always tidy, with new and used books all in together on the shelves. If you can't find something, just ask anyone in the Eagle Eye apron and you'll be happily impressed with how well they know the place! The selection of books changes from day to day thanks to their trade in service so it's always a surprise what you'll find.
There's also the treasure trove of the back room, where there are special editions and a TON of older books. There's some seating back there too, nice comfy couches and some chairs.
I love being able to support local businesses while getting my book fix on, and it's even better when I can support amazing places like Eagle Eye. Do yourself a favor and go visit, I promise you won't leave empty...
Read moreIf it weren't for their location I'd be a regular customer and vist 3-4 times a month. They have a great selection of books, new and used, as well as a lot of really cool items that would make great gifts for a Book-aholic like myself. I discovered Eagle Eye Books back in 2018 when they hosted a book signing for my favorite humor author Tim Dorsey. Most recently I attended another signing for Mark Greaney the author of the Grey Man series. Meeting some of my favorite authors and having the opportunity to speak with them turns me into a Star Struck kid much to my wife's amusement. When you enter Eagle Eye Books and take a look at all the signed posters displayed along the top of shelves by a wide variety of authors, well you can't help but be impressed. I highly recommend signing up for their newsletter to keep up with all the author visits and other cool store events. My only criticism is regarding the lack of titles in the Horror and Fantasy sections. They could certainly use a boost. Bottom line is that Eagle Eye Books is a great shop for all the right reasons and staffed with really nice folks that are book lovers...
Read moreI just wanted to point out how kind the employees at Eagle Eye are. I wanted to surprise my husband and bring him to the Pierce Brown signing. Red Rising means so much to him. I called to see if there were any tickets and a lady told me there wasnât but that there may be extra first come first serve books but with us living so far away we just didnât want to risk it. However, they took the time to call us back and tell us we could actually secure a spot and I just appreciated that so much. They couldâve easily sold it to someone else but they chose to call us and I just canât even express how kind that was. Not only that but I really appreciate that they didnât run the price up on the signed books or charge separate tickets on top of having to buy the books. It was really refreshing to see a company not ran by greed. I canât wait to come back and shop at Eagle Eye on our next...
