After visiting the store to buy locks for the new house I just bought. I was looking looking at cans of butane. I left not buying any because I have trouble with the nozzle. I came back looking for my phone. I found a replacement counting the cans. I was accused of stealing some and then locked in the bathroom by both female amd male manager. I asked them to call the police. I just recently was able to get out. I set off the alarm and waited for the police but they never showed up. Ive been targeted by almost all stores around town due to a law suit against the state of Georgia I have that is in court as of 2 months ago. I am also being criminally prosecuted for a crime that has yet to be committed and being processed in court as of 3 months ago. Ive been apart of a military experiment since birth and my Navy intelligence mother and father has gone missing my sister has been. Abducted and my nephews and niece sold and police after multiple attempts to finds answers of thier disapperance has refused me. And refuse to give me any information only having court proceedings with a duplicate me present. Im finding out they have been missing for a long time. Area 51 is real and what they found is inside my body and has fully grown with an incredible amount of potential. It has accepted me and me alone as it's surrogate. Thank you family. Love you. Read moreI visited the store to exchange an item and showed an employee my receipt and the item I told him I needed to return. He directed me to wait in the normal line that took nearly an hour. When I finally reached the cashier at the front of the line, I was then told they weren’t processing returns or exchanges that day because they were too “busy”, contrary to their stated corporate and franchise policy. No exceptions were made or even considered, they acknowledged they were not honoring their return policy on a selective basis.
This felt like a questionable business practice, especially during such a busy time of year. I’ve always valued the neighborly experience at Ace Hardware, but this incident was disappointing. When I later spoke with the store manager on the phone, they were dismissive, gaslighting and seemed indifferent to the situation. And applying their return policies selectively is fully unacceptable.
Given that Ace is often more expensive than big-box stores, I expect a higher level of customer service. This experience didn’t reflect the kind of relationship I’ve come to associate with Ace Hardware.
And at no point has the store tried to reach out and rectify this multi-hundred dollar purchase other than the day it occurred. They obviously don’t care. Management refuses to follow rules and then provides gaslighting like “it never happened”.

Read moreI went to this store purchased an item that a male employee named alex helped me locate. It turns out I needed pliers to put that item on . Immediately after purchasing I'm kind of looking for something I can use to put this thing on. ALEX finds me on the opposite side of the store and basically questions what I'm doing, I say I'm looking for something I can just use to put this on real quick . He rudely says " you can purchase pliers or a hammer but we don't rent tools for one time use " I said I didn't ask about renting , I'm asking what does this store have laying around that I can use to put this part on I just purchased . I said do you have anything i can use. He says NO. ALEX continues being rude and disrespectful towards me and my grandmother. I ask for a manager,he says he is one, with that attidude i dont see how, so i storm off in search of another employee . I locate a female employee and explain what I need she kindly hands Me a pair of pliers. Now why was this employee so accommodating and Alex was not?? Only difference is that this was a black employee and she was also a woman . I said The same exact thing I said to her that I said to him ,but he refused to help ??
