FOUND HAIR IN MY BRISKET SANDWICH 🤮🤮🤮 PIC ATTACHED. So I had heard a lot about this place and chose to come after my dental appointment which was one minute away. I chose the Curbside To Go option and order online. When I pulled up I text that I was here and that's when all the fun started.
So I saw numerous people walk in and walk out with their food and notice mine was not coming out with an Associate. I left my car and went inside and to no avail it was a line everywhere at every counter and there was no getting to the front to see where my order was. I went back to my car and called the number that was on the sign that said Curbside To Go call (funny that the text msg said all I had to do was text 'here'). I called and then my order came right out which was contrary to the text that I sent to notify the restaurant I was here when I arrived. Through all the texts and walking in the restaurant and then calling, my food was cold as ice which had me perturbed. I was in a rush which meant that I did not have time to go back to the restaurant and argue with the manager that my food was cold. I ordered the brisket sandwich on a bun with fries and a sweet tea. The sweet tea was the best thing.
I ate my cold fries and then opened the wrapper to my brisket sandwich. I took a few bites of my cold brisket sandwich with barbecue sauce on it and then that's when I saw the nasty hair in it and I threw the entire thing away. Now prior to coming to this restaurant I heard all this hype and hoopla that it was the best thing since sliced bread, however, I must digress because how can you be the best since sliced bread and you have hair in your customers food that costed the customer $20 (and he left a tip 😕). All in all we had cold fries, cold brisket with hair in it, and a nice sweet tea all for $20. Never in my life will I ever go back to this establishment because I felt like I just got BAMBOOZLED. Joke's on me this time.
Protip: you should invest in hairnets...
Read moreI really wanted to like this place. I’m an island gyal so barbecue is definitely our wave we ride. When I say the service was confusing, perturbing, and very rude I would select Chick-fil-A any day over the service received and/or given from this establishment. I came to the establishment after giving them well over 30mins to prepare this meal that looked a bit appeasing to the eyes online. To which that was just it. Only appeasing to the eyes. For the beef brisket to be smoked for 18hrs it wasn’t tenderized to the sound of 18hrs. It was very tough still as if it only was cooked for 2-3hrs. In no way am I here to disrespect anyone’s cooking however, I feel deserving of my money back because for the price and what I feel was falsely advertised I wasn’t satisfied by any means. Greens had this bitter and terrible after taste, mac and cheese just terrible. Down to the banana pudding was not to my liking in lack of better terms. The staff and/or service was just atrocious, rude didn’t want to be there, had no organization whats so ever. As adults taking constructive criticism may not always be a favorite to hear but it’s vital for a business to take accountability, gain understanding in knowing and moving forward with the intent to strive to do even better. As a pregnant woman I am disappointed but, hopefully a new cook or better understanding of what their customers who enjoy good food want. Oh and before anyone gets to assumings of course I ate what upset my tastebuds because 1.) pregnant and I’m starving 2.) paid over $40 worth of food for only (2) to be very disappointed 3.) appreciative but livid. 4.) food needs more flava not flavor (flava) definitely not it for me. 5.) terrible...
Read moreI walked in tonight 10/26 about 2 hours before closing. There was maybe two seated tables and two people waiting for pickup orders at the front counter. Not what you call busy at all. I walked to the cashier station grabbed the menu and waited to have my order taken. I was never once greeted even though I stood only a few feet away from all employees behind the counter. I stood and waited for someone to acknowledge me and or walk up to the cash register which never happened. What bothered me most is the employees that weren't dealing with the two customers picking up orders were in the back joking and laughing and having the time of their lives while I stood at the front counter as awkwardly as possible waiting for one of them. I made eye contact with two of them one young lady and one young man. Neither of them made an effort to come help me and or get someone to help me. So me and my friend waited a little while longer and decided to leave because of the lack of service/welcoming. We then drove almost 30 minutes to a sister location in Sandy Springs. This location a whole hour before closing only had four sides left to sell, served lukewarm food at best, and got the sides orders wrong not once but twice. Once the sides were correctly completed and the extra ribs that was originally ordered but not rang in were done they were brought out by who I assumed to be a manager. He did add two extra ribs But didn't make up for the shortcomings from...
