Target — Local services in Deerfield Beach

Always happy to come to this particular Target. It is extremely clean, and the staff and team treat their guests very well. I hardly EVER go to the Target which is closer to me which is Deerfield West off of Powerline and Hillsboro. It is worth it to me to go the extra miles to get helpful service and with a smile. I have to be honest, I find the other store's staff to be a bit put offish and apathetic about bringing you or telling you where the product is that you are asking for. At the Deerfield/Federal Target, they actually walk you right to it, and that is very appreciated. Today I met with the nicest young man in the elevator. I guess they are doing back to school stocking and floor layout CONTEMPORAEOUSLY with doing a store remodel. Even with all he had going on, he was still nice and still friendly. He never let that daunt him from being courteous and kind. On other occasions, I have met up with other pleasant staff and one cashier was Tamikah, and a store manager. I had a slight accident where the Dawn Dishwasher soap oozed out of the bottle from the cart onto the floor. I felt it when I made a step and I noticed it was slippery. Tamika (spelling?) and the young man they moved VERY EXPEDIENTLY to get an absorbent to get the substance dry, and they blocked off the area. Their speed and attention to the issue was quite impressive. They got it up in no time, and they knew what they were doing (no one looked confused or bewildered as to what to do, and it looked like a team effort to get the job done which could have hurt people if that hadn't be rectified.) Once when I did drive up I ordered a tide big laundry soap container and they had loaded it in my car. Week or two later when I ran out of my last of laundry soap and started the new one I got from target drive up. It was damaged and leaking from the circle around the nozzle as soon as I tried using it.

However, I went in today and went to Starbucks and ask the women behind the counter what I should get and told her I like certain taste and flavor coffee drinks. She was so kind and helped me figure out which drink would be the best for me so I could enjoy it. It was amazing and just what I was looking for. I recognized her from when she use to be down on the first floor rocking her egg and bacon socks! I am so thankful for her being at this store she’s been helpful many times and was the only person who actually recommend a drink and it was actually exactly what I described and liked. I believe her name was Bethaney or something similar but she is a great hard worker and very knowledgeable of the company and store. She deserves some credit. That’s why I’m giving the rating a ten even though I have had trouble with this target before.

And shout out to Nancy who was watching the self checkout line downstairs and helped a mother calm her youngest child down as she had 4 kids trying to balance it all she stepped in and helped the mother. poorest phone etiquette ever!! ive been trying to contact the store to speak with a manager for literally the longest. days and days on end but nobody answers the phone no matter which department extension you try calling, or how early or late it is. ends up ringing for two minutes before the phone runs out of rings and hangs up, and no option for a voicemail. HR is the same thing. now of course my application got rejected, because i couldn’t get a hold of a manager to even get an interview and i couldn’t tell them to at least consider me for a role. boyfriend ended up getting a position for this location but is in the same sort of pickle as i was in, with the documents not being able to be accessed on our end it took him like 3 days to get into contact with somebody about it 💀 just for them to tell him to go on a computer for it to work—still to no avail. we’ve been even calling them starting as early as 8am and calling every hour of the day hoping someone will pick up. for someone who is unemployed and has a family to feed at home these phone calls are super important to us and it’s sad that this store can’t even do the bare minimum of picking up a phone to give people...
