My husband and I purchased a leather couch from Leather Creations in 2008. This purchase happened after we returned home from our honeymoon in Hawaii. We brought along a bag of sand from Maui where we got married because we wanted to be reminded of the beach where we said our vows & wanted our home to have that aloha spirit warm vibe. The wall behind the couch was being painted the color of the ocean. Well, they matched our bag of sand perfectly to an Italian leather color swatch that no longer existed but they had just enough to create our couch and ottoman. Well, it's been 14 years and our marriage and the couch are still going strong. This couch is super comfy, so much so...that we should have replaced the padding in it quite awhile ago and didn't notice. It is recommended that you replace them at a certain year of use, but definitely exceeded that recommendation. It has a little creakiness sometimes in a small section due to people falling asleep so easily when laying down to watch TV. But guess what...Leather Creations takes care of that for free for the life of your purchase. You can't beat that! My father-in-law, God rest his soul, sat in the same spot every time he came over and fell asleep within minutes, sometimes in mid conversation. ;o) He once told me that it was more comfortable than his chair at home. That, my friends was a ringing endorsement, for sure! I loved that he felt that comfortable in our home and the memory of him sitting there looking so at peace warms my heart. Leather Creations has everything to do with that extremely wonderful memory that I have of my father-in-law visiting us. I want people to feel even better than "at home" when they enter our house. I want them to feel like they are on a mini vacation and staying at an expensive rental home in Hawaii with all the top of the line creature comforts. Of course, we are due for new padding to refresh it and will be doing so to make sure that it is at the top comfort level that it can be. I know that I have used the words comfort, comfy and comfortable so many times in this review. It probably seems like I have a lack of adventure when it comes to my vernacular but I can think of no better words to describe the feeling EVERYONE has when they plant their tushies on the best purchase we have ever made that makes our guests relax the minute they sit down. It automatically makes new guests family and keeps family wanting every game night, movie night and party to be in our home. The amazing sand matching Wade sold us our couch back then and the equally great Manager Darrin has been so very helpful to make sure that the couch can have some minor touch ups to be restored to an almost new status. Most companies would try to push a new expensive purchase of a lesser quality piece of furniture and lose a customer because of it. Darrin backed their high quality product and planned with me how to make it like new again at very little cost to us. We have recommended Leather Creations to so many people and their furniture speaks for itself. It's nice, refreshing actually, that they see the long game, the big picture. Create quality at reasonable prices and stand behind it. I would never go anywhere else for a "Leather Creation" - I would have to be a fool! And because my mother didn't raise any fools and Darrin didn't push an unnecessary sale, we are planning to purchase a leather sleeper sofa from them for our office. Thank you...

I honestly have not had the chance to even enjoy my new couch which looks beautiful as my "While Glove Delivery" this week was an absolute nightmare. So to average: couch is 5 stars; delivery and customer service this week is 1 star! Last Thursday - phone call from HQ to pay balance and was told I would get a call on Friday to confirm that the couch was on the truck and then Monday to setup delivery window. Friday - no call Monday - no call. I finally called the delivery company and was told that the truck the couch was on was "lost" and they would be in touch. Then they called at 7pm and said they wanted to deliver the couch the next morning. I declined and stated my request would be for Friday. Tuesday - I called delivery and they couldn't confirm anything. Wednesday - left a message with delivery - no call back. Called and spoke to Wade (salesperson) who said he would reach out to delivery. Still no call back. Thursday - ditto to Wednesday except I spoke with another salesperson. Then...Thursday at 7pm get a call that they are delivering in the morning. I called back and left a message that we did not have time to prepare and could not accept delivery. Friday - 9:30am - guess who shows up at the door? So the "white glove delivery" was not a "premium shipping and delivery service that provides extra care and attention to detail." I hope I can enjoy my couch but honestly the lack of service and follow up this week by the Deerfield staff and D&S Delivery Company has left a horrible taste in my mouth. Do not believe the contract when it states: Your delivery appointment is not set until you confirm the appointment with D&S (in bold). That is not...

My first Leather Creations purchase was in 2003 and the salesman at the time said I wasn’t buying furniture I was buying an heirloom, truer words have not been spoken. 16 years later it’s still in use in my living room, I have reconditioned the foam and the seat leather because of tremendously heavy use and it looks like new. In May I purchased 2 new couches and of course from Leather Creations and the same heirloom quality furniture arrived and I got it on sale! Yesterday I bought a new piece for another room and Wade also gave me the sales price that ended last month, now that is and was special. Also don’t expect buying Leather Creations furniture on Sunday and get it delivered Thursday fine high quality finely crafted furniture takes time to build and my new couch will take 6 weeks to be delivered and it’s naturally more expensive however over 16 years I would have easily replaced my heavily used furniture 2 or 3 times so Leather Creations is more expensive on the front end but this heirloom quality furniture is actually cheaper over a 15 to 20 year period because it’s wonderfully crafted and of such superior quality you’ll save money and enjoy it for many years to come.
