A charming and cozy spot right in the heart of Deerfield, Illinois! While visiting my sister, my wife, son, and I searched for a breakfast place and came across the Cherry Pit Café. Among all the options, it stood out not only for the appealing menu but also for the best value.

Our breakfast was excellent—generous portions with perfectly grilled potatoes, extra-crispy bacon, fresh fruit, and hot, crunchy toast. The coffee was spot-on and served with your own thermos pitcher for easy refills, which we loved.

What really made the experience special were the people. The owner, Freddy, welcomed us with such warmth, and our waiter, Matthew, had us laughing the whole time with his wonderfully dry sense of humor.

Ridiculous and rude manager who doesn’t know what customer service is. I ordered French toasts for delivery from them and got plain toasts without anything! On their menu they have a very nice picture of French toasts topped with strawberries and whipped creams and I got just toasted bread for 6.50+tax! I can do toasts myself at home, isn’t it supposed to be a whole meal when you order from restaurants?! When I called to ask a question I was told they serve just toasts.. Thank you no thank you! My husband’s breakfast is also a mess.. he asked no onions and they put twice portions of onions!! What’s wrong with you there? Drunk on work or what? Food was boring. Sausage was good. Eggs were fine. But the potatoes? Those were some of the weirdest things I've had in a while. They were burnt and yet undercooked at the same time? They were sliced but mashed? The place could definitely be cleaned up inside as well, because they're not busy and yet there are workers standing around. They handed me a pot of coffee also so it's not like they were busy tending to people's drinks. And when I asked if they had anything cherry, they had one item on the menu that has cherry: cherry stuffed French toast. Come on guys- your name is cherry pit.
