Café Zupas — Restaurant in Deerfield

The friendliness/great soups, sandwiches and salads can't be beat. There is such a variety, I go once a week with friends. Perfect place for women as they offer 1/2 servings. Not that it isn't great for men. There are always equal numbers. Whole servings are terrific for larger eaters but for lunch, I prefer the half servings and the price is definitely affordable. Portions are generous. AND, each meal includes a roll and and chocolate covered strawberry. My only problem with the menu is that there is such variety that I have difficulty deciding what I will eat because I like so many of them. The soups are terrific and are enough for a meal. The veggie soup has an unbelievably delicious bouillon base. My friends get the chicken enchilada chili soup..so good. And they have specials frequently that are terrific. I love the golden curry chicken soup. If you can't decide they let you have half of bowl of two different soups. They heat the sandwiches if requested which makes them panini-like. My friends share a sandwich for lunch. (They don't care how little you order.) I love the turkey avocado club. I also love the salad selection. My favorite is the California Club. There are many, many dressing choices and you get a choice of three types of lettuce. AND there is avocado on many of the choices. They also have a very affordable kids menu. The restaurant is extremely clean and so are the washrooms. The choice of beverages is good as is the choice of desserts. The staff is terrific. Always so, so friendly!!! And efficient. We are no strangers to Cafe Zupas. The chocolate covered strawberries are enough to get my 4 year old in the door. The Ultimate Grilled Cheese is always on my order. I enjoy switching up my pick 2 combo, this includes a chocolate covered strawberry and a roll. This time I had the Mangoberry salad this evening and it was so good. I would absolutely get it by itself with some protein. The chicken noodle soup is my 4 year old’s favorite and I must admit it’s very flavorful and good! I enjoy their drink selections (milk or apple juice for kids). They have seasonal drinks and Coca Cola products, including my favorite Coke Zero. The best part of Cafe Zupas’ food is I know I will likely leave here with a full serving of fruit and/or vegetables!

The atmosphere is very nice because you can easily spread out, it’s bright, and for the most part clean. Tables could probably be wiped down a little more. Each table had some sort of crumbs on it. The music selection is always fun and upbeat. Plenty of seating, both tables, booths and table-booth combos. Those looking for accessible options will have options!

The staff here is always friendly, talkative, and good about any sort of promos. They encouraged me to download the app and I did! Might as well earn rewards!

The moment I came in, I felt immediatly immersed in the cafe zupas enviroment. As kind and patient employees welcomed me, they provided me many options and support for deciding my meal. The staff was very kind and not only did they pour me a cup of the delicious chickpea and vegtable soup, but they also poured their heart into it aswell. My jaw was wide open when I saw them make my nuts about berries salad, seeing them craft it was magical, I felt like a little boy inside Willy Wonkas chocolate factory. When I paid for my food, I nourished my soul with their rewards as I felt truly valued with the numerous benefits, not counting the free strawberry and bread. When I was rung up for my meal, I was astonished to see such low prices for high quality ingredients in my gourmet meal. As I was looking for a seat, I didn’t have to scavenge across the resturant for a clean table as every table and chair was SPOTLESS.
