Never had any bad experiences at my local target until today. TL Mel was extremely rude at guest service when i asked for help on a simple issue i couldnāt control on the target app. She was no help at all and kept giving a very nasty attitude and just refused to help me in any kind of way. After i got my target app to work i had one item to check out and she refused to check me out at guest service and said it was only for retuned when thatās in fact not true. Iāve gotten checked out there multiple times and another employee was about to do so before i had mention the problem i was having. On top of that as i walked away she continued to speak about about me to the other employee in guest service. Very unprofessional and rude. Target needs to do better at picking management. Hopefully the store lead or district manager sees this and it gets resolved. Itās not that hard to help someone out over an issue that canāt control them proceed to lie about not being able to help. Especially when i constantly shop here and other people go out their way...

I guess they didnāt put the correct signs in the correct locations. So when I went to go pay they obviously rung up different prices. When I challenged it the GSA up front told me. āI am sorry sir but people tend to put stuff in wrong places but that doesnāt make the item that sale price.ā I proceed to explain that there is a whole wrack signed with these clothes there. She responds with ā you know what you could have done is take a picture or a video and showed it to me. But since you didnāt I canāt honor it.ā Then I told her canāt you ask a team member to check? She responded no āI canāt call anyone to check for you but you can go check!ā Excuse me I wonāt be coming back to this pitiful store! Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis store manager made strides to fix my issue. A bit of background: I recently moved and damaged the lamp shade of a lamp I had bought at Target a few years ago. No big deal, I know Target sells replacement shades. NONE of the replacement shades fit my lamp (they are "uno" fitted), only the lamp shades on the other lamps fit (they are "euro" fitted). So they are selling lamps with shades that they don't have replacements for. Again, I didn't think this was that big of a deal, but after going in at least 6 stores around DeKalb and spending hours of fruitless searching online (you would not believe how hard it is to find a specific lampshade fitting, so be careful with your lamps!), I came back to Target and spoke with the manager. She took one of the shades off a lamp and charged me the individual lamp shade price. I'm not sure if anything can/will change regarding selling items for which there is no replacement, but a very positive outcome in this instance. I will be glad to continue...
