Read moreMy son's Jeep started repeatedly locking and unlocking the front diff, illuminating and large selection of idiot lights on the instrument panel on a Sunday evening on our return trip to Michigan from South Carolina. We didn't have a code reader and being in unfamiliar territory, we pulled into Walmart. Their auto shop had just closed, but a helpful employee told us "AutoZone is the only place worth trying at this time." He was right!
We went to AutoZone, stepped inside and told our story. The manager brought out a code reader, pulled out the codes, confirmed our suspicions, and got a new wheel speed sensor out of stock for us. Then the REALLY good service began. He got his own hydraulic jack and tools out of the trunk of his car and set us up to replace the part. He offered advice and most of all, moral support, as the sky darkened and two cloud bursts passed through. By the time we were done, we were old friends!...
Read moreVery poor customer service. I was going to purchase a cleaning product that was advertised as 2/$9. Product rang in as $5.xx and I mentioned the sale as advertised. The gentleman that was supposed to be "taking care" of me proceeded to tell me that if I wasn't buying two the sale didn't apply and I informed him there was only one bottle in stock and he proceeded to let me know that he "couldn't make a second one appear" yes, sir I do know this and assumed you could still issue the sale price and then he still proceeded to charge me and then had to refund me since he didn't fix the issue. All the while acting childish and huffing and puffing about having to return the product. Rude rude. Such childish behavior over someone asking for an as advertised pricing which most stores give to you regardless of number...
