We decided to get Mexican for an early dinner and chose MiCerritos. We hadn't been there for a couple months. Walked in the restaurant and it was about 345pm on a Sunday. There was hardly anybody in the restaurant only a few ladies at the bar. We went to sit at the bar and a server who had been sitting at a table(because they weren't very busy) named Abel came to take our drink order. We typically will sit at a bar when we go out....both of is having the restaurant experience.......we like that vibe of its just us. Needless to say everything went downhill after that. I had to ask for napkins twice. I had to turn around while he was back at the table to sit down and do whatever on his phone, to ask him to come take our order. I had to ask him again for napkins. Our food came out in about 5 minutes and as soon as the person put the food in front of us he asked us how everything was and I said "well we just got it so we haven't tried it yet". That was the last we saw him. They weren't even that busy....... I understand on a Sunday when it's not busy you're going to take tables wherever you can. It's just a shame that not having good service is because you're sitting on your phone at the table behind the people you're waiting on versus because you're busy taking care of other people. It's also a shame because you have to choose between if you want good service or good food. You can't have both here. It seems like it's been that way for a while and that makes me sad because we really do like the food and the Margaritas there. Hopefully it will get better but I...
Read moreSadly tonight our family decided that we will NOT return to this establishment. This is for a few reasons ever since last year sometime the quality has went down. We used to love this place. My wife ordered fajitas as usual the food was brought out and the tortillas was placed right next to the handle of the fajita skillet when she went to grab tortillas and burned her pinki finger. Which is now blistering. We asked to speak to a manager to ask why the handle mit was not put on the handle to prevent this? The waiter replied we dont have them. Then another Male came to our table and my wife advised him what happened and he replied I dont know why they didn't put the mit on the handle. I then asked to speak to the manager again and the same man came out and said the manager wants to know what we want? He said we will take the fajitas off. My wife replied that is not the issue and explained that she wanted to ensure no one else got burned. Meanwhile while waiting for a manager whom never appeared I witnessed a female waitress while cleaning a table dip a dirty napkin in the used cup I'd water and she wiped down the table with it. This is a health issue and grose. This disappointment comes in the quality of food going down as well as the lack if concern from the manager and the fact that he neglected to take the time to come to the table is disheartening. For these reasons we will not...
