So I was a Kohl's shopping lover until this evening 5:45pm. I went in to do an Amazon return, after completing the return I took my 5year old daughter (who is the size of a 3 year old) to the restroom. The gentleman was cleaning the restroom. He had his cart in the mens doorway, had just put up the the 'caution wet signs' as we walked up, so I loudly told my daughter who was doing the pee dance to go ahead and go as he just started to mop the entry way to the woman's restroom, (the floor wasn't wet enough yet for her to fall) while her 2 brothers and I waited. So she proceeded to carefully walk past him into the restroom. The guy grabbed her by the top of her arm, drag/pulled her back out of the restroom!!. I yelled at him to "please do not touch my daughter" so he turned and looked at me to tell me "5minutes" and pointed at the floor. I informed the associate who walked up what happened as I was walking out. I later found out she was Beth the assistant manager on duty. I left the store so I didn't make a huge scene, could clam down to console my confused/scared child, as well as to take my children to a safe restroom because Kohl's IS NOT. I called to talk to a manager for Beth to inform me that she talked to him and he said he was scared she was falling, I informed her that was a lie and not what he said to me or I would have had a different reaction completely, There was no jumping motion from him for her falling, nothing accept annoyance in his face because she was going in, But that doesn't excuse that he grabbed my child. Beth then defended him saying he was a father and not like that, she didn't know what else to say because she talked to him. You want to believe the liar then that's fine. BEWARE to others who have small children in the store who might need to potty, apparently some stranger might grab them by the arm and pull/drag them out of the restroom, I will never go in this store again and I hope to God other people aren't treated the way my child and I was tonight or dismissed by management like this wasn't an issue or a problem. Shame on this store for not handling the situation better. Let me say this once, NOTHING give you the right to touch someone else's child! And management should not be tolerating...

I'm a tall guy, and I'm a big guy. But I'm only big in one place, which severely limits my shopping options, even online. I have what's best described as a Homer Simpson belly—a 60-inch waist, if you will. A week earlier, I had shopped at Kohl's and received helpful service from Xander (sp?). I didn't purchase anything then; I went to verify if they had big and tall clothing after visiting the Duluth Trading Center, which didn't have my size at all. They had my friend's size—he's a 48. I thought he and I were the same size, but overall, he's shaped like a barrel from head to toe, so I didn't realize he was smaller. I'm shaped like a pear.
Yes, Kohl's was my second choice. Duluth Trading Center actually recommended them, if that means anything. So why did I buy something on the second visit?
On the first go-around, I decided that if even Kohl's didn't have pants I could wear, I wouldn't buy anything at all. Their pants on the shelf didn't go above 42 inches. However, I got to thinking about their track gear and sweatpants and thought, "Wow, it would be nice to have at least new stretchy pants and shorts."
To my shock and—not horror, but rather extreme happiness (dismay, possibly? I don't know for sure)—when I went the second time and was perusing the track and sweats racks, I noticed they had a size called 4XB. Being programmed to look for things that say 4X—you know, for shirts—I wondered what 4XB for pants and shorts were. So I grabbed two shorts and a pair of pants, all with delectably exquisite cotton and spandex construction. They feel so good! Tried them on, and wow—not only did they fit, they stayed on, and when I sat in them, I didn't need to adjust them further.
I feel like these clothes should be folded nicely and sit on the shelf with the other pants and shorts. They don't deserve to be hanging on the racks with the other track and sweats stuff. Maybe more of us big guys will find them and talk more about Kohl's in the process.
I'll be back to buy more. Maybe I'll buy...
Read moreFirst time visiting this location. I went shopping for summer dresses, ankle booties, makeup, etc and it took a while but I was able to find a pair of suede and really cute booties (winter fashion), but still cute and they were on sale for $22....Got 'em! didn't matter to me they're winter season shoes those booties were made for walk'n and that's just what I'm gonna do. Lol Anywho, that experience was cool next up, I went browsing over to the dresses, no XL so I moved on over to the makup counter to find no one available to help except for this nosey, thought I was gonna take something, supervisor who kept following me :( And she was so obvious and annoying at the same time. Finally when I went to checkout, I met a friendly cashier who was very pleasant and then here comes that snoopy supervisor budding in saying the most annoying upsell statement about applying for a Khols credit card. I didn't mind her asking, but it was the way she asked that ticked me off by saying the word "if" with a hint of doubt whether I would qualify for a dang card. I proceeded to tell her, there's no question "if" I just don't need it, thanks. I don't like Khols and probably will not shop there anymore. I remember shopping at another location in Cedar Hill, Texas and the cashier was so rude I looked around because I thought I was in the twilight zone, so it's been a minute since and I will probably just stay away. Weird vibes, I'll take my money elsewhere...
