Panera Bread — Restaurant in Denton

The Autumn Squash Soup is DELICIOUS! I wholeheartedly recommend it. I was quite surprised to like it so much as it’s healthy, LOL. Now that I have written down that it’s my favorite, I hope it doesn’t disappear from their menu like the Butternut Squash Ravioli, Black Bean Soup, Red Velvet Cookies, the Portobello Mushroom Panini and the Tomato and Mozzarella Caprese Sandwich that were previous favorites of mine.

I’ve never had bad “service” at any Panera Bread. Even when mistakes have been made in my order they were quickly rectified and a free soft drink or cookie was offered for the inconvenience.

I love that Panera has great wi-fi and they don’t mind at all if you stay to do work on your laptop after you eat breakfast or lunch. They even have power outlets scattered through out the restaurant. (Just don’t be like the single people who take up a table for 4 with their laptop and books and camp all day).

I also found out recently that every Panera Bread restaurant donates all their un-sold breads, pastry and cookies at the end of every day to feed the hungry! I Love it and am happy to get behind Panera just because of this but their healthy and great tasting food makes it that much easier to...

Yesterday at around 4:30pm I decided to go to Panera bread. I ordered food through the drive through. I paid and realized I needed another bag of chips so I asked the team manager there at the time (i dont have his name young boy) how much the chips were he said $1.50. I proceed to give him $2 and reaches for my money and lets $1 fly away. I told him you let my money fly away i don’t have anymore cash. I find .25 and give it to him. He then proceeds laughing and saying oh well that my money flew away. Saying that I need to give him $1.50 or i need to leave. He not once apologized for the situation didn’t offer to go and get the money even after i tried to open my door but couldn’t get out and i explained to him i had kids in the car. The team manager hassled me over .25 cents and even called the police because i explained to him that he let my money fly away and i know they could have just given me the chips since i had the money. I wish I didnt have to give a bad review of this location. I'm a big fan of Panera but this specific location is not the greatest. I work in a medical office down the street and we have drug reps bring us lunch often. We have chosen to have them bring Panera on a few occasions from this location. They have not gotten our order correct ONCE. Something is missing with our food items, silver ware is not given, food is cold, etc. I feel I have a right to name the things wrong with this place because I myself have worked at one of their locations and this is unacceptable to the standards that Panera is asking of its employees. I've driven there a few times as well and have used their drive thru. The employees I've dealt with are kind of rude and unhappy to be there. And I always look through my bag before I drive away knowing that there is most likely not silverware and I'm usually right. Again, I love Panera but this location has...
