I’ve been going here for about 2 years now. The first year I was a wallflower not really getting too involved, but the first thing I remember is walking in the first time and being welcomed with open arms. Pastor Evan has wonderful sermons. Those were the thing that convinced me to stay after a year of church shopping looking at everything from vineyard to Calvery to Red rocks to Brave church. None really felt right. They all seemed to be very heavily driven by money and that turned me off knowing I’m from a low income family. We have very little to give other than our time right now and I didn’t like the pressure of having to come with my pants pockets folded inside out (figuratively speaking). Once I had integrated into the community, joining small groups, doing Grow track, both of which are extremely unique to this church, I started to love the stance they have on finance and acceptance. I love how Biblically centered this church is and how nothing strays from scripture. I love how this church’s foundation comes from the authority of scripture. It is a diverse community in age, race, class, and everything in between. It isn’t too large that you get lost in the crowd, but isn’t too small that it is almost too intimate. The perfect Goldy locks of churches. If you’re looking for everything I’ve mentioned here: a place that is welcoming, nonjudgmental, not focused on prosperity gospel, and preaches the true word of God in an applicable and relatable way, this is the place to go. I wished everyday was Sunday. I love Colorado Church and everyone that attends. We are all a big happy family. Walking up to Colorado Church you are always greeted by beautiful warm smiles from everyone and warm loving hugs by two of our very special greeters Victoria Munro and Laura Martin. At Colorado Church you will never receive a follow along worship service outline. At Colorado Church the worship services are truly genuine heart felt messages spoken through pastor Evan Martin to pass on to the church from Jesus Christ himself. I have never attended such an amazing and unique church like Colorado Church. I am truly blessed to be a part of the Colorado Church Family. Everything about this place is incredible. Pastor Evan is incredible. The worship is incredible. The kids program is incredible. The congregation is warm, welcoming and kind. There are many small groups available to help you get connected.
