This is a honest review.
I ordered a burrito and the person charged me Extra!!! for something I didn't order.
3 big mistakes they did and this unfortunate happening is FULLY allowed by the supervisor manager lady Sonyia and miss Martinezjj.
Instead of listening to my concerns(below), they were spreading their own made up truth facts and totally ignoring my facts. Then started loudly taking to me when i told them I will report this to Chipotle. -- Both of them also told me to call cops if i have to. This is what they told to a customer who's is going to Chipotle for last 20 years. F CHIPOTLE!!!! I will never go to any of Chipotle now. Cop was called while I was writing this review by someone.
They mis-charged me EXTRA for a Queso sauce and when I asked the person, how much Im paying he didn't tell me how much im charged "per item" on the first attempt. Asked third time again and He said I'm paying $17.xx for one burrito.
I ASKED why I'm paying $17?????... the cashier person told me I got queso sauce. -- I asked WHY are YOU charging me for queso sauce when I did NOT order it??? --or have it in my buritto.
THIS is a clear example of MIS-CHARGING customers probably multiple times a day like this, which happened to me. THIS CLEARLY SHOWS They are NOT fully trained to communicate effectively --or "mark" customer orders correctly and thus resulting in a WRONG / FRAUD charging by Chipotle!!!! (which could be happening at large scale as most of the customer normally do NOT pay attention to what they are being billed for everytime). These employees at this location I felt are not trained per my discussion with them today.
Second issue, the quantity of each item I got in my order was "WAY less" (than what I usually see in other Chipotle franchise locations give, Im a customer for the last 20 years and can tell what's fair and what's not). I initially wanted to tell temployee who was filling my order about the low quantities per item but I let it go. I also felt that this employee is intentionally putting everything very low (to save profit for Chipotle??). I didn't say anything first thinking he may be new but then after all this episode, when he gave me Guacamole, he shook the scoop 3 times to a level which made only 40% of what I usually from a single scoop per my heuristics. I told the employee, that the quantity of Guacamole he added is very low and please add more so it looks like 1 order of guacamole. So he added. NOTE: He did NOT tell me that it will be treated as a SECOND order of Guacamole in my bill. Surprisingly, His second scoop of Guacamole (he added) was not like his first scoop and that also confirms that they are NOT trained to give right amount each time.. or atleast close to a Good amount.
Third issue: Cashier didn't tell me what I'm paying for "per item" before swiping my credit card after I myself figured to sort the first mischarge!! I found they charged me twice and that's not what i wanted to pay or was expecting to pay. Then the supervisor lady said she will open my burrito to check guacamole (and I didn't want it because she was CLEANING something and not filing foof and also opening a burrito would have left my burrito in even smaller quantity had she put everything in a new tortilla wrap after paint messing up my burrito.
Chipotle !!!!! Please look into this "Continuous ACTS of unprofessionalism" AND "no customer satisfaction" and FRAUD happening to a customer and possibly to many others at large scale.
And you lost a customer today!!! Why?? Reason: The supervisor ladies 2 of them, cashier's ignorance and untrained people.
This happened to me on 9/11th at around 9:45pm MT in Lakewood Chipotle location at address: 3170 S Wardsworth Blvd, Lakewood CO, 80227
I will report Report this issue to my bank as well.
I will check on this with Chipotle aeparately via email. I know chipotle won't give any thought on my honest experience at this location but you have already lost a customer.
On to of all this, Chipotle websites contact us to report an experience doesn't WORK...

I’ve learned I can never do delivery or even online pickup orders from here, as they will give me about half the total food vs when I order in person, even when I am requesting extra ingredients for the online order. I’ve also waited in my car 20+ minutes for a pickup order to be marked as ready, only to realize my food had been sitting there going cold because they never bothered to mark my food as ready. Kind of defeats the purpose of online ordering for pickup if I have to go inside and wait to see when my food comes out. Good luck reporting online order issues to Chipotle- they think that offering a free drink coupon somehow makes up for an unacceptable entree order.
In person, the portions are better than online orders, but still worse than other Chipotle locations I’ve been to. They are even stingy about rice- after they give me an initial scoop and then I ask for extra, they’ll give me maybe 1/3 of a scoop. Doesn’t make sense to me when rice is one of the cheapest ingredients out there! If the issue is that you are consistently running out of rice, maybe you need to increase the amount of rice you’re making, it shouldn’t be that hard unless you are refusing to staff enough employees.
Employees are often really rude as well. When I ask for chips at the register, I’ve had them give me attitude and act like I’m lying when I point out I just paid for chips but they didn’t put any in my bag, or they’ll walk off to go chat with their coworkers as I’m paying, without giving me the chips, leaving me standing there waiting for someone to notice me so I can get the chips I paid for. I’ve also had another employee roll her eyes at me and act like it’s my fault when I point out that I had asked for corn salsa and not the red salsa that she just put on my bowl. It wasn’t even crowded or loud and I pointed specifically to the corn salsa, so clearly she wasn’t paying attention. But she still acted like it was somehow my fault, and then proceeded to remake the bowl with significantly smaller portions than the first time.
In conclusion, the management of this location needs to do something about the consistent poor customer service I’ve gotten here. I’ve given them too many chances because of the convenience of the location, but now I’ve learned my lesson and my money is better spent...
Read moreI’ve been going to this chipotle my whole life, and it used to be great! Over the last year or so the place has gone downhill. The employees are immature and disrespectful. A few months ago it really started when I ordered a quesadilla, a bowl, and tacos for pickup. I showed up to the chipotle, the staff said they had forgotten to make my order (even though I placed it 30 minutes prior), I said no problem and I waited for them to make the food and I was happy and left to bring the food home! I got home and I opened my quesadilla, and to my surprise, there was literally no quesadilla in there! There were sides and all, but no quesadilla! I drove back to the chipotle and showed them that they had literally forgotten to give me my quesadilla, after I waited 20 minutes even with an online order. The whole staff thought it was hilarious and gave me a free bag of chips (as if that makes up for the inconvenience). I then waited again, watching very carefully this time as they packed my quesadilla. The whole staff seemed to have been under 18 years old with no supervision. They were all yelling and patting each others heads while making people’s meals. That was just the start of things… ever since then, they cannot seem to get an order correct. I’ve ordered lots because I love chipotle and they have gotten orders wrong, they have given the smallest portions, and forgotten things over 12 times since then. I’m pretty patient, and recognize that I should probably switch locations after that many times. Today, I had my tipping point! I have an allergy to red meat, so I cannot have steak, as delicious as it is. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and Ubered it to my house. To my surprise, this is the smallest quesadilla they’ve ever made! Oh well, I’ll of course still eat it. So I take about two bites and realize that it is indeed not chicken! It was steak and I in fact cannot have steak! They also forgot my peppers besides the point… anyways, they deserve this review now. I’ve been pushing it off because I had hope management would straighten things out fast as they have in the past. They need to get their s* together! I won’t be coming back until then. Sincerely, a very...
