Mixed feelings. I'll change my review based on my next experience, but I gave 2* due to my kafta experience, communication issues and forgetting an item. It depends on what you get.
1st Time I got the King Combo: Hummus is nice and creamy! Baba Ganoush was also very tasty, the eggplant was nice and smokey which means they did a good job roasting it accordingly! Chicken shwarma is made with a tasty lemony marinade and the chicken itself was fairly tender and not too dry at all. The dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) were tasty overall and not dried out. Saffron rice was cooked well (not over or underdone at all) and flavorful. Tabouleh was good too which I'm no usually a fan of. The other item in the combo was the gyro meat; flavorful but a bit more greasy than I like (I'd get it again though). The pita was okay, generic pita bread. Oh yeah, it came with some kind of cucumber sauce that was maybe an attempt at tzadziki, not sure, it was ok and he salad has a nice standard Mediterranean vinegary dressing with a good hint of mint in it.
2nd time I got the Meat Combo: The kafta was AWFUL as it had WAY TOO MUCH pepper in it. I lived in the Middle East 4 years and NEVER had kafta with that much pepper, it was near inedible (for me at least). The rest of the combo was good though. I also ordered baklava that they forgot to give me in my takeout order (didn't notice until I got home).
They do have lunch combos not listed on the site which are $10 (if I recall correctly). Order online or go in person as it seems answering the phone isn't their...
Read moreThere falafel is the best I have had in denver hands down! I was across town thrift ingredients and craved a falafel. I got the vegetarian platter. 12 dollars!!!!! Saffron rice (which wasn't a over cooked or undercooked glob of rice) I think I got 5 falafel patties ( crunchy and fried to perfection on the outside and full of herbs and actual pieces of chickpea, delish.) Two grape leaves (they were still cold and not too sour, yum) a side salad (lots of cucumbers and great dressing) hummus (you can taste the olive oil they drizzled on top, good quality) and baba ghanosh

If you’re craving authentic Mediterranean and Greek flavors, this place absolutely delivers! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
We started with the gyro sandwich/wrap, which was wrapped in warm, soft pita and stuffed with hummus, crisp lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. It came with a side of perfectly seasoned fries and paired wonderfully with a cold Coke. The meat was tender and seasoned just right — not greasy, just delicious!
The real showstopper was the King Combo plate — a true Mediterranean feast! It came with saffron rice, creamy hummus, smoky baba ghanoush, stuffed grape leaves, crispy falafel, fresh tabbouleh, juicy chicken shawarma, and savory gyro meat. Plus, it included warm pita and a generous side of tzatziki. Every bite was a celebration of flavor and texture — from the crunch of the falafel to the zestiness of the tabbouleh.
To balance it all out, we enjoyed the house salad, a refreshing mix of tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, parsley, and a light vinaigrette. Simple, fresh, and the perfect complement to the rich entrees.
The portions were generous, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food came out hot and fresh. Highly recommend for lunch, dinner, or even takeout. You won’t leave hungry — or...
