This little store was such an awesome find! Me and my boyfriend saw it while getting dinner near by. I can’t believe I’ve lived so close for 2 years! I wish it was easier to find on google because that’s how I search for plant shops and this doesn’t come up when I google plant stores near by. Anyways this store is really great, if maybe a tad more expensive than other plant shops. Every employee I’ve met there has been incredibly nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. I recently adopted a cat and one woman working there was so helpful telling me which plants I picked were toxic to cats and which weren't. I also picked up a Venus fly trap and needed a cool terranium for it and this place was perfect for everything I needed. The owner was so helpful and patient with me and I really appreciated his honesty in telling me what would and wouldn’t work for a terrarium. I love stopping in and seeing what new plants they have and I would love to see them stock some rarer succulents or lithops! I’m always looking to check plants off...

At one point the older lady was sweeping and swept into my feet. I felt as if she wanted me to leave the store. She didn’t even apologize. That was so rude. Another time, I had to ask for gift wrapping and they treated me like I was asking too much from them. When I gave my sister-in-law her gift the candle lid was broken. It’s as if they just threw it in the bag. My husband refused to even enter the store the last time we were in the area. That was when I decided that my time at your store was over. I refuse to shop where my family doesn’t feel welcome. If you are a person of color, my recommendation is to not shop...
Read moreDatura is a go-to for me for gift giving - decor, local gifts and the best jewelry! It stands out for the amazing people that work there like the owner, Jonah, who takes time to talk plants with you and never seems to tire of it! I arranged a terrarium building class recently with some friends and it was the best way to spend a Sunday morning. Jonah spent time teaching us about the whys of terrarium building and took us through selecting our plants and decorating our terrariums with fun mosses, rocks and crystals. We had so much fun that I ended up building two terrariums and am now daydreaming...
