The Constellation has landed!
I'm not giving The Constellation five stars just because it's from the Little Man Ice Cream Family. The Constellation deserves five stars in its own right for its own uniqueness.
Here's the inside scoop:
The Constellation is an outdoor ice cream stand similar to the original Little Man ice cream location in downtown Denver, with some great improvements. We are all familiar with the single long line that the iconic milk jug can gather and two counters. Constellation has FIVE ice cream counters, and you can line up on either side.
Next, they offer their standard flavors such as the 16th street chocolate, and some pretty awesome, unique new flavors. The turbulence is charcoal ice cream, with marshmallows and chocolate pearls, for example. I sampled the turbulence and was pleasantly surprised. Other new flavors include a creme brulee and a "red eye" coffee flavor. They even have one that includes all of your classic airplane treats! My favorite is the space junkie which is black raspberry, marshmallow swirl, and brownie bits. I believe this is similar to what is known as the "pink cow."
In keeping with the Little Man tradition, portion sizes and pricing are very reasonable. You can get a waffle cone, a dipped waffle cone, a dipped and rolled waffle cone, sugar cone, or cup.
If you're feeling fun, they also have a "Baked Alaskan Pop" which is a s'more ice cream on a stick, coated in chocolate, and topped with meringue which is torched to give it a brilliant toasty look. Haven't tried the pop yet, but definitely planning on it for my next visit! I love the creativity, and hope to see more fun creations.
Oh, and there are ice cream sandwiches, vegan options, and sorbet of course! Not a fan of their sorbets though, honestly. My husband tried both of their current sorbet flavors (raspberry peach and lime ricky) and both were meh. Now I do like sorbet in general, but you are much better off with any ice cream flavor instead.
Now onto the appearance... way to create another iconic shop, Little Man! The 75 foot wing replica is in honor of the historical home of the Stapleton International Airport. Staff is very friendly of course, and I love how they are dressed like flight stewards to fit in with the theme!
Little Man has certainly lifted off another wonderful ice...

Once I had brunch and was ready for dessert stepped outside took a closer look and ordered some ice cream, even though was unsure so asked for 1 scoop of red eye and one of the seasonal peach cobbler flavor. Both ice creams were delicious and probably some of the best ice cream I've had anywhere. I thought the prices were fairly reasonable $5.85ish for a little size which is not so little. I would definitely recommend you give them a try. They said the most popular types were the salted flavors but I opted for different choices ,even though salted is good I prefer sweet but not overly sweet. The red-eye is coffee flavor I believe.
There's plenty of option as far as sizes with cone or...
