I love working out of coffee shops from time to time and I have been to this location numerous times. I liked going here because of the atmosphere and it’s a convenient location for me. Today I decided to bring another coffee in from this morning and I normally sit down for a few hours so I always plan to purchase another coffee.
Idk if it was the owner or an employee but they approached me and essentially told me to throw my other coffee away or get out. I reassured them I plan to purchase another coffee since I’m always usually there for a while. They said “as you can see it’s slow and it’s really unacceptable for us.”
To say the least I was absolutely shocked because this has never happened to me before and I was willing to make a purchase. And for them to say it’s slow and kick out a potential customer is also absolutely shocking as well.
Of course anyone can run their business how they want to, but definitely a first for me and I’m glad all of the other coffee shops I go to...
Read moreI've been very excited for this place to open since I first heard about it, and was thrilled to finally stop in this morning while walking my dog. It's in a great spot where a new coffee shop and roaster is the perfect addition to the neighborhood, and is very close to the nice walking/biking trails along 25th. Excited for the future of this place as it has plans for outdoor seating, a sail to proved shade, and will be selling beer, wine and mocktails.
Our pup is excited to spend a lot of time out in front of this place as the weather warms up, and the interior looked like a very nice place to lounge, do work, have great coffee for humans. Got a coffee to-go and it tasted great, and my wife (who doesn't like coffee) was delighted they had a range of caffeine and caffeine-free teas. The owner and employees were very welcoming and lovely, we're...
Read moreFirst time in yesterday and it’s a new favorite spot! I was looking for a single origin espresso for a cortado and Michael made me a superb drink with their Guji bean. The espresso was dialed beautifully the way Ethiopian coffees should be. Emphasizing sweetness, juiciness, and a delicate florality. His art was also spot on and so hard to do in a small Gibraltar. Everyone was very friendly without being too friendly for 6:30am. I also had the best cheddar scallion scone I’ve ever had. I was craving one just that moment so I was stoked to see it. The rest of the pastry case looked delicious as well.
As a side note they also have little pup treats. And the bathrooms were spotless with tampons, pads, and lotion.
Definitely the best coffee experience I’ve had in a long time....
