Aside from all the aliens that live below this place and the countless conspiracies it is involved in, it is actually a nice airport. There are helpful people, security is nice and there is a lot to do after you get through security. The only downside I felt thereās a lot of walking. They could use more of the motorize walkways to help the weary traveler. On the upside there is such a variety of food and drink while you were waiting to board your plane. You could literally spend hours walking through the different shops they have there or just go to the Coors light bar and have a cold beer and watch everyone walk by. Itās not a complicated place and you can find where are you are headed easy enough. On the downside, this airport is not really child friendly. Too many people. The place gets packed and not enough seating. If I was flying with children, I would avoid this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis airport is a fail, in almost every way. It's extremely outdated, security is awful and antiquated, even with Clear and TSA precheck you are still in a massive line because their security system is inefficient and limited. Salt Lake is far superior now and is a breeze.
Seating at terminals is very limited and they are old and uncomfortable. The carpeted areas are stained and worn.
The entire airport needs to be redone.
Add to this that it is VERY far from Denver Central and you are looking at a rather pricey Uber into town.
The ONLY reason I upgraded this airport to 3 stars instead of 1, is because they have a LAVAZZA. Why isn't LAVAZZA everywhere?!?! Well, Denver, thank the Italians because they saved your disgraceful airport from a total loss... They almost got you a 5 ā just because they are here. Looks like Denver made at least one...

There are numerous shops and dinning facilities in the terminal and on each concourse. Directions are abundantly marked, and the security is efficient and reasonably quick given the number of passengers passing through the facility. One drawback is that the airport is located 10 miles outside of the edge of the metro area but there are excellent parking options and a terrific, affordable light rail route that goes directly to the terminal. Nevertheless, the relatively remote locations keeps keeps the aircraft noise and substantial amount of road traffic away from the already heavily congested...
