I kept wondering what was inside this place as I go to the Starbucks adjacent to it before work often. today I finally went in and it was really hard to not spent every cent I have. I have to often drive a bit a ways for foods imported from Europe or a decent sandwich and now I can just walk! they sell an assortment of homemade pastries, made-to-order sandwhiches, meats (ground beef, LOTS of sausages) LOTS of different cheeses (perfect to come for charcuterie ingredients), desserts, pastas and more! I’m half Italian so I can finally shop for my most important pasta ingredients here! Reminded me of the markets I go to in Italy when I’m there for the summer :’)
this is not a grocery store but a small neighbourhood market
I also tried a slice of galette de rois (aka king cake) filled with almond paste and it is HEAVENLY. 20/20 customer service and owner. They will be recognizing my face as I will definitely be a regular! Prices are fair in my opinion- can’t wait to go back and bring my...
Read moreI stopped in on a whim today. I was actually intending to stop at Jimmy John's, but I had been curious about Goudy's for some time. I'm glad that my curiosity got the best of me, because this sandwich is straight fire. I ordered the Italian, which is offered on a French roll. It features prosciutto, tomato, fresh mozzarella, capers and balsamic vinegar. This isn't some fast food take on an Italian sandwich - it's an Italian sandwich as in a sandwich you might buy at a cafe in some piazza.
In addition to its deli counter (which serves breakfast and lunch items), Goudy's is a curated shop with meats, cheeses, sauces, sweets, condiments and high-end ingredients of all kinds. I didn't make any retail purchases, but I sure will stop if I need something impressive to bring as a guest, or something unique for a date night with my wife.
I hope this cool little deli isn't too badly damaged by the ignorant city of Denver tearing up Alameda like they did...
Read moreGoudy’s Deli and Market is an absolute gem — the cutest French deli I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warmest, kindest ladies who made the experience feel like a slice of Parisian hospitality right at home.
I had a cheese and turkey croissant that was nothing short of divine — flaky, buttery, and filled with rich, savory flavor. You can tell every ingredient is selected with care.
The market selection is second to none. Whether you’re planning an elevated weeknight dinner, building the ultimate charcuterie board, or looking for the perfect gift, this place has it all. Their curated collection includes high-quality pantry items, unique Parisian biscuit tins, charming merch, and more.
Goudy’s is more than a deli — it’s a whole experience. 10/10, can’t wait...
