Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it. I'm guessing you're a Denverite that's scoping out this park to see if you want to hang out in it, possibly with your dog or kid, maybe a picnic. I recommend it, but even more so I recommend you learn the story behind it. My father emigrated here from Hungary, he risked his life to flee the Soviet occupation, so I'm somewhat bias. But I really think your average American should know this story now more than ever....
