I came in today in the best of moods, the lady who did my nails and feet was lovely until she wasn’t. She did an amazing job on my feet. She did an amazing job on my nails. She gave an amazing massage, but when I let her know that one of the nails she had put acrylic on was a little thinner than the rest because it was bending, she gave me the side eye and said are you OK? She fixed it. But then didn’t talk to me the rest of the time that I was. I was polite to her. I said sorry for anytime. I asked a question or move my hand the wrong way. I’ve never had. My nails be more even in my entire life. I’ve come to the salon many times. This is the best set I’ve ever had. When I asked for her name so I could request her next time I come in she looked me in the eyes and shook her head no. Then got up and walked away, so I didn’t tip her for anything that she did today. That was beyond rude, and I repay it with rudeness. That’s a business and you shouldn’t have been offended for me letting you know that something was thinner than it should be so that way it didn’t break, When I’m paying you to do a job. I was not unkind to you or rude in anyway so I feel really shitty that I didn’t give you a tip, but I didn’t deserve to be treated that way. Anna Is usually my technician. I’m not sure who helped me today. I’m grateful for the work that she put in, but I won’t be treated with disrespect when I didn’t do anything in a business where I’m paying for a service. Y’all ever heard of that tiktok sound that goes “this is what I wanted…. & this is what I got 😭.” I walked in with this inspo pic from their website. The ladies had assured me they could do so but it would be a wait since they were busy. Respectfully I understood & waited. After close to an hour they sat me & started working out the shape beautifully. Up until it was time to apply the color… they had started with a dark brown dip powder which stained my nails underneath & around. The color didn’t seem right so I politely showed them the pic again. Apparently the nail tech forgot whichever colors she used… at this point I’m a bit tired from my overnight so I ask them to leave it as the base color of the acrylic nails. They half apologized & Kim began wiping off the powder on the nail but not around or underneath them. My brain started freak out bc they started to look dirty since not all the dark brown dip powder was fully cleaned off. Once Kim was “finished” & was about to ring me up I asked to use the hand sink to try to wash the dark colored powder off around my nails myself. After a few minutes of me scrubbing with their brushes, she comes to over to me to tell me to sit down she would clean it up for me. I reluctantly sit & try not to have a breakdown crying in the store. She “finished” cleaning up & I got charged $67 for some nails I didn’t wish for & saved up a whole months to do….just to be flat out disappointed & almost left dirt. She still left me some specks here & there but at least it looks more clean than before, before it looked like I didn’t even step into a nail salon at all. $67… for a full acrylic set $45… “added” shellac/ gel $15 (Which I only wanted with the design) $7 for shape…. I saw all the reviews and decided to to give them a try since I’m new to the area . At first I thought they were okay ,a bit over priced ,at $60 for basic pink and white ombré. The nail tech barely spoke to me just asked what colors I wanted. She started sizing and gluing tips barely any glue that she broke a nail while installing. Which she later reglued .She would randomly pause resize and file down nails. Leaving them very uneven. I have two different pinky nails sized very different. It also left the tips chunky since they where already filled when she kept filling them down.I was also charged for a coffin shape , which was okay but nails looked very squared didn’t take time to shape them just cut the conners off before filling, literally all to attempt to shape. She rushed filing them. Didn’t even let me go wash hands after slightly buffing and smothing them, just dusted my hands with a brush. I saw other techs , this guy giving her looks while she did this like just as confused as me. I felt very uncomfortable and I’m not confrontational so I paided and left. Not even a two days later the nails begin to lift, like my hair getting stuck under them when I run fingers through scalp. I typically never have that issue until weeks out. I really not planing on going back . Facilities were nice clean and other techs seemed nice , I just don’t know if it was mine that was in a bad mood. I definitely don’t think I’ll be back . That’s t just my five second rant since I feel like it was overpriced and nails barely made it...
