Unfortunately this was one of the worst nail experiences I've had. I usually try to give people quite a bit of lee-way in job performance because you just never know how their day is going, but I haven't been able to shake the bad feeling I left the salon with. I came in for a shellac manicure and I felt like the whole time I was there they were just annoyed. I started off with one of the gentlemen who asked what shape I'd like, I said Almond (oval w/ a point), after he made a comment about how they all look the same, I pretty much got round. He asked how short I wanted them and cut them quite a bit longer, at this point I had lost my nerve to say anything and he never asked for my opinion. You know "Do you like the length". Then it felt like he was digging his nails in to my fingers frustrated that I was struggling to relax my fingers bc I was becoming increasingly uncomfortable. I was passed off to another technician, no big deal, but neither one of them explained what was happening.. so it just got confusing. I paid before she started painting, again no big deal, but she asked out loud if I wanted to tip.. and then asked how much. It felt very pointed and pressured so they make sure to get adequate tips despite below par attitudes. My new lady did the paint job, she was very thorough, but literally didn't say a word, not even hi. Then all of the sudden she just got up and walked off, I didn't know if we were done? Could I leave? She came back eventually to point to a drying table in the corner. I went over and sat for a while, finally I asked a guest sitting next to me how we're supposed to know when we're finished. She said that they don't tell you, and they didn't. So I waited a minute or two and then just got up and left. Then I spent about 20-30 minutes filing my nails to the length and shape I wanted. The whole experience was just unfriendly, confusing, and unsatisfactory. I won't be going back sadly. Maybe they were all having an off morning? Idk, I hope other days they're kinder and more communicative with...
Read moreLet's face it, Denver has many nails salons to choose from, so why go here? Well, as a guy, it can be awkward walking into a nail salon. At Paris Nails, they treat each client with respect and provide the highest level of customer service. Additionally, the shop is very clean and they sterilize their utensils every time. Mina and Tim provide excellent nail service, and Emily is superb at gel nails and waxing (no, I don't get gel nails, but I have been waxed - ouch, Brazilians hurt - jk, I do eyebrows). This shop stays busy because of the high quality and reasonable price, so walk-ins might experience a wait. Call ahead if you have plans or a special event - they are very accommodating. Great family-owned local business that has earned my patronage for...
Read moreI have a hate love relationship with this nail salon. So ill start with the pros; its clean, they're quick and usually available for walk ins. Its a convenient location for me and because they know me and my friends they will fix chips and what not for free. The little girl that runs around and offers water is just as cute as a button. However the cons are all follows; They are constantly eating fishy foods in the corner, they totally hate giving pedicures, every single one of them. They make no effort to make the pedicure relaxing and/or enjoyable. And for some weird reason it takes forever to get it together to pay and get out, through no fault of your own. I just cant decide if I like or dislike them more over one...
