I'll preface this by stating that this interaction started fine but the whole expirence was overall bad. I found a table with SIX chairs for sale on fb marketplace place for $225. I thought, that looks good so I sent an offer of $200 and they said, "yes, of course!" And than proceeded to say that I'd have to buy it from the SellBuddy website. It was still listed for $225 and charge me tax. Trying to sell stuff on fb marketplace and than having to go through a website and charge tax on used items is bananas to me but I looked past it. They did give me a discount code to use on the website to get the $200 but I still wasn't super thrilled about the tax. I told myself I liked the table with SIX chairs well enough to just move forward. I bought it and didn't get the delivery but realized it wouldn't fit in my car. I bought the delivery and when the table came, there were only FOUR chairs. The listing was for SIX. I inquired about it and the delivery guys called the shop and was told it was only FOUR chairs. I said the listing was for SIX so could I get a discount and they said it was already discounted from the original $225 and that it was already way cheaper than the other tables they're selling. I was so put off by that comment because I wasn't buying the other tables. I was buy the wooden table listed with SIX chairs, not FOUR. They did end up giving $25 back and I was so over the whole interaction that I took it. Overall, the idea of what they do is fine but my experience with them was rotten. Just be careful buying from them, they might lie about the listing and insult you.

BAIT AND SWITCH Operation!! My wife saw a dining table and chairs on FB marketplace. She sent it to me, looked nice and I replied to the FB marketplace ad with a full price offer. I originally thought I was dealing with an individual. You can see the conversation in the photo. No mention that I could buy it on a website at 10PM to secure the item as you can see in the photo. I drive 55 minutes, clear across Denver and arrived at 11:09AM to find a note on the table that it was sold and waiting pickup. I inquired to some guy on the floor that I was told “first come, first serve”. He said someone must have bought it on the website. I informed him that I had made a full price offer and was in the store 9 minutes after opening and seems like I’m the first come and nobody told me about a website. All he could muster was “I’m sorry it’s sold”. Two hours of driving for nothing other than piss poor service at best and a scam at worst.

I found SellBuddy by divine accident and was knocked out by how easy it was to schedule a pickup on their VERY user friendly website. The concept is genius and so is the execution! No charity we contacted would come in and get these pieces! SellBuddy sent Skye and Chris over. They carefully removed the brown Lazy Boy recliner sofa & chair, making room for our new taupe sofa. We're exceedingly happy and grateful. SellBuddy is my new favorite startup. They are keeping good used furniture from being thrown to the curb or in a landfill. Or, taking up space in your garage or attic when someone could love them instead

IF IT SEEMS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT IS. In summary:

  1. Extremely slow to respond, will ghost you in the end.
  2. Questionable software, causing you to question their professionalism and reliability.
  3. Misleading advertising. They omit information like minimum item requirements. JUST DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME. They clearly don’t need your business. Also check out their Yelp reviews if you haven’t already.

I bought a new couch recently and had to get the old one out before the new one got delivered. I did a Google search for selling couches and this company came up. They claimed they would come pick up for free and then sell it for you. I knew from their revenue structure that I wouldn’t get a ton, but that’s better than paying for someone to remove it for you, right? My couch is a West Elm sleeper sofa that we’ve kept in very good condition with nothing broken and no stains/smells etc. Well I filled out their online form and got an automated text saying “we’ll get back to you quickly on weekdays.” I sent them a picture of the couch but the automated line did not get back to me for three hours. I should have known then something was wrong with this company. The text said “we can’t pick up this item but we can pick up your previous items.” There was only one item. I was told to contact seller support, someone named Gage. I have had to hound this person for answers, following up multiple times across three business days. In the end, this person ghosted me and ended up not responding. Gage claimed that I did not meet the minimum item requirement (which is not advertised anywhere) and that there was a software glitch in their automated line. If the software was unreliable, you would think their seller support team would be more responsive. Thankfully I made other arrangements while waiting for this unreliable/unprofessional company. I had a sneaking suspicion that it wouldn’t work out (check out their Yelp reviews) despite the glowing Google reviews. I guess they don’t need the business, don’t waste your...

This company is absolutely the best. Moving out of Denver to Dallas, I wanted to sell most of my large furniture and realized it wasn’t going to be an easy task. Then I found Sellbuddy. The scheduling process on their website for pick up was quick & painless. The guys who came out to grab the furniture were very professional: on time, efficient, and very careful when handling the furniture. Once the furniture arrived at the warehouse it only took a couple of days before the professional pictures of the items were posted on their website. Every piece got sold within few weeks at a very fair price and I was paid through Zelle. It was the easiest and the most pleasant experience! No hassle of taking pics and putting them up online and dealing with strangers show up at your house possibly damaging the items or even your house while disassembling/carrying out of the house. With Sellbuddy, they professionally remove your items, do all the work to get you the most money as possible, and if the items do not sell which is very possible since it might be out of style or too large etc( doesn’t matter how much the original price. bottom line: they are used) they donate them for you at no charge. Special thanks to Will, the general manager. I had important documents left tucked in one of the dressers they picked up. I had already moved out of state and was completely unaware I had left the document in there. Will called me personally to let me know that he had found the document and sent it to me via certified mail at his own expense! He could’ve simply tossed it to save himself the trouble but he didn’t. Thank you again Will!!! I highly recommend Sellbuddy to anyone who is looking to sell their furniture in the...
