if I could give negative stars this "hotel" deserves -1400 stars. worst "Comfort" Inn ever. we were placed in a room on the other end of the hotel from the elevator. when we asked for a wheelchair because we cannot walk that far (4 herniated discs in my back and I just left hospital from surgery & my mom is getting over lung cancer and can barely breathe). we were told they would "upgrade" us to a handicapped room. they said we had to go to the back of the hotel for the entrance. in the back on the hotel there is only one entry which you must go up a step to get to. after hobbling around for 20 minutes trying to find the entrance we went back to the front desk. I came in angry and asked for a manager. I was told no manager on site. I asked for the manager to be called and I was told "well, I can try but she's not going to answer" over and over and over. I was told to wait until 6am for the manager to be here. We finally found the handicapped entrance- it was just down the building from the front entrance, not at the back of the building. when I called the front desk again to ask for the manager's number I was told "I can't give you that". then that she didn't appreciate my attitude. I told her I didn't appreciate being f*ed around. she continued to say she's in charge at night. i asked "who do you call when there's a problem?". she answered "the manager". i said "then call the manager". answer: "I can try but she won't answer this late". I finally hung up since she was not going to even try to call. I waited 15 minutes and when I called back again to see if she called the manager. the front desk person refused to answer our call. she made the night auditor answer and left a note in our account that I was abusive. when I explained the situation to the night auditor she said that the front desk person has been here for years and would not have treated us that way. so now I'm abusive and a liar apparently. I asked again for manager to be contacted and the night auditor said "I agree with the front desk person, I can try but I can't guarantee she will answer this late". what's the point of having a manager who cannot be contacted? I explained that I have repeatedly asked for the manager to be contacted and have been repeatedly told they could try but no one would even try. the night auditor then said "well I don't know what to say. how can we fix this now without calling the manager?" I explained again I want the manager contacted. she put me on hold to try. when she came back on she said "there was no answer, but I can put you on hold and try again". I answered in the affirmative. I was again told she tried but no answer. I said I would talk with her in the morning. we ordered food and then discovered we have no soap. we cannot wash our hands to eat. I called the front desk and got the night auditor again. I explained the situation to get a response of "housekeeping didn't put soap in your room?" I explained we have shampoo, conditioner, makeup remover & lotion but no soap. she replied "wow. okay let me see if I can find soap". after 15 minutes I hobbled out to try to find the front desk to find a security person at the end of the hall training two teenagers. by this time I was in tears and explained we needed soap and was told they "would try to find some" but I wanted to go ask. the security lady nicely offered to for me. within 1 minute the night auditor knocked with soap. by this time I was having a breakdown. I told her again this is the worst experience ever and shut the door. I cannot even begin to explain how horrible this experience is and what it's like to be in severe pain while "customer service" people continue to perpetrate the worst service ever. our pizza was cold by the time we got soap to wash our hands to eat, but I'm so upset i cannot even try to eat. this place pretending to be a hotel needs to be boycotted and closed down. NEVER...
Read moreInitially, we were placed in a smoking room despite our preference for non-smoking accommodations. Upon speaking with the manager, we were relocated from a room on the 2nd floor to one on the 4th floor. However, once on the 4th floor, we observed that the majority of the rooms were undergoing renovations. There were numerous male workers stationed on the floor with their tools, equipment, and personal belongings scattered throughout the area, creating a disorganized and uncomfortable environment.||As two female guests, we felt uneasy in this situation, especially given the fact that our room on the 4th floor also had a non-functional toilet. We raised these issues with the manager on duty, but she was dismissive of our concerns, stating, "it states on the website that we are under construction and you booked a non-refundable stay." She also stated that she could not do anything since we booked through a third party side which was incorrect. We booked our stay directly through Choice Hotels but she did not care about our proof of this.||We believe that the lack of a working toilet, coupled with being placed on a construction-heavy floor with an overwhelming presence of workers, should not be considered acceptable or safe accommodations for any guest. The manager’s unprofessional and unhelpful attitude only added to our discomfort, and despite our reasonable request for either a refund or transfer, she refused to...
Read moreGot stranded in Denver and Greyhound paid for a night so my Grandmother and I could be comfortable..I loved the view and the change of pace from Atlanta..I didn't like the night auditor when we checked in but it seems like that's how the hotel attendents are trained out west (too abrasive for my taste) or maybe it's the lack of southern hospitality that throws me off..Hopefully the ladies name was Molly or at least that's what my Grandma calls her..She sits at the left of the desk and was so warm and friendly and what I expect when coming to a hotel in a different region..Looking for other Sparks closer to me but we don't have a lot of them out here unless they are Downtown..I slept exceptionally well and had an amazing nights rest and shower..It's not a Hilton Hilton or Sheraton but you can tell it's not a typical hotel stay..Unless I find a better place to stay this will be our chosen hotel when we come back to Denver..A ton of food and lots to do and the view was amazing and humorus (Seems to be an area with a lot of appreciation for old school cars which is big leap from my area since it's seems to be telsa/cybertruck land)..Pretty cool area I really enjoyed it and the internet was fancy but I adjusted..It was very clean and modern and I loved the amount of chargers and the ottoman under the nightstand...Exceptional stay..Can't wait to...
