I was in the area so I thought me and my family would try it out since it had very good reviews and the food looked good. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The food was very nasty. The meat had no taste. The salsa on my picadita was bland. My son got quesabirra tacos they were Disgusting the goat had no flavor it just tasted like plain meat no seasoning what so over. My son took one bite and left it all. Prices are also not updated on their menu. Very OVERPRICED ! All four of us left our plates full, but my son left it the fullest when the waiter came around I told her we were done and she was shocked because none of us finished our food it was barley poked at. She was very embarrassed because she had to take it all back. When the bill came, I asked if they can just remove my son’s tacos that he did not eat whatsoever. I was willing to take the loss for the other things that weren’t eaten as well. She told the owner that was sitting at the bar and they denied and said they can only remove half of the amount, but the plate was completely full. My bill came out to $137 dollars and we all left with an empty amd upset stomach. We all got sick while still in the restaurant and we barely ate anything. The restaurant was very cold The heater was not on we were shaking the whole time in there. Unfortunately...
Read moreI've heard about this place cuz they have this huge quesadillas called Machetes. I'm from México City and this is the first time that I see a machete in Denver, so I was so excited to try this place. I ordered 3 tacos. 2 al pastor and 1 borrego ( they are big ). Al pastor was okay a little flavorless.., but the borrego taco was really good. Then I ordered 1 machete with 3 guisados; chicharrón prensado, papas con chorizo and asada. I was desapointed because it was flavorless.. I had to put a lot of lime and salt plus salsa to give it the flavor. So far... I just recomend anything with borrego or barbacoa. The machete would have been great with borrego. Maybe I'll come back to try another thing or just for tacos de borrego...
Read moreAuthentic! I tried the combination which had a chicken flauta and your choice of meat in a quesadilla and your choice of meat for a sopa. I choose Asada (beef) for my sopa and pastor (pork) for the quesadilla. The quesadilla is not your normal cheese in a tortilla, it's fried and filled with meat and cheese. By far my favorite on the plate and the pastor was delicious! The sopa and flauta were good but next time I'm getting pastor quesadillas. So good! I love that they have a get your own salsa bar so you can try different ones. Their salsa for the chips and salsa was also so good. My husband got the machete which is a huge long taco and he really liked his. A lot of food for a decent price. Definitely...
