Sad to say! We have been coming to Mi Gusto Es for about 4 yrs. And have always had an amazing experience and even more amazing food! We came in today and my husband being the picky man he is. As soon as he tasted the salsa said there was something off. He asked the waitress of the owner was there. We learned over time that the owner was always at his location. Mind you we have come on date nights and have brought so many friends and family members. And everyone has always enjoyed it. Today we came with our family from the Springs. And we all ordered my husband always orders the mocajete and as soon as he tasted it he said it was sour. The rice is always spot on in this place. Today it was mushy and hard. 😭🥺 Our friend ordered the fried fish and it had no meat in it. And they offered to make it again. She never received the food back. 😔 To finish we found out it’s under new management and it’s so sad. We have enjoyed this place for a while now. The service was off. The food was off. Super...

Came here with a friend during lunch time. We really enjoyed our drinks but the food was alright. I ordered shrimp tacos that came with cheese but what actually came out were very greasy mini cheese quesadillas. My friend said that her plate came out bland but there were many bottles on the table for her to add flavor to it. The house salsa that came with the chips was one of the best we've had around. The place was maybe 25% full when we went a couple weekends ago but service was very slow and it was hard to get a waitress' attention. Both waitresses that assisted us were very friendly and had great attitudes. I have heard many good things about this place so I'm hoping that we just went on an off day. Another good spot for seafood. Parking available on morrison or back or restaurant. Big menu that will keep rethinking what you want to try. I ended up with the fried fish. It was nice and big. The best part was that it was cut into squares between the head and tail so when it fries, you end up with easy squares of fish to pull off with your fork. Good ideas for easy eating. Rice was good, and so were the salsa and chips. The micheladas are good and refreshing. I can't wait to come back and try more...
