Des Moines' Downtown Farmers’ Market — Local services in Des Moines

Obviously different than your average business that get ranked on Google. The farmers market has something for everyone though. It was my first experience and I will remember it fondly. There are multiple live performances i wouldn't say anyone who you would hear on the Radio but it adds to the experience for sure. Plenty of great food options to get you going for the early morning. I personally had potstickers, a smoothie, breakfast nachos, and kombucha. Needles to say i was stuffed! I have been to several farmers markets all across the country in Washington and Los Angeles and Kansas City and this is by far the best farmers market that I have ever visited. It is massive and has tons of vendors with fresh produce flowers crafts and lots of freshly prepared food. Also have lots of vendors preparing vegan food which is a bonus. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy lots of music as you walk the several blocks of the market. It can get pretty busy here early. It’s great way to start your day. Depending on your comfort with crowds make it an early start! The variety of booths are great! I love dogs and you’ll see a lot of them. It seemed like most owners are responsible enough to only bring pets that are sociable with other pets and people. The food is great and you’ll likely run into someone you know.
