After purchasing top of the line Bosch stove top, built in oven, microwave and dishwasher, the microwave turntable quit working on the second use. The oven also stopped working. We were under warranty and I made a call to Fergusons, expecting them to send someone out to repair our appliances. That is NOT how it works. They evidently contract repair work out and since we live in Freeport, we were/are not in Bosh's service area. We got a complete run around and at least a month without our new oven and many phone calls later one of the repair companies in Panama City was able to diagnose the problem in the electrical circuit which we were able to take care of. For the microwave we have had no luck getting the part we need to fix the turntable. It is a small plastic piece that fits under the turntable. The service guy in Panama City who promised to order it 6 weeks ago will no longer answer my phone calls. Ten days ago I talked with Fergusons asking them to just get and send me the part and I could install it. I sent a picture and model numbers of the part to our sales girl that sold us the Bosch appliances. Last week I followed up with her via email and she has not responded. I feel burned by this store in so many ways. After spending $8000 no one informed us we were NOT in a service area, making our warranty void. Their service system totally sucks. We made an appointment on-line but when we got to the store we were advised that they do use the on-line scheduling and the person we made an appointment with was not available. We were building a new home and hoping for a one stop shop for plumbing, appliances and lighting fixtures. Our rep was not very helpful. She did not notify us that all of our items would not available in time for install. Instead they delivered what they had and never even notified us of missing items. They delivered a dryer that we did not order, and told us that they make substitutions if they are not available without us knowing or approving??? They sub out the installation of the appliances which is a nightmare as they never deliver and install on the same day. They damaged our subzero refrigerator during installation and then proceeded to argue as to who had to replace it. It took over a week to get a new fridge. We were in our house two weeks before we got a washer and dryer. They failed to let us know they were not available even though we paid 3 months in advance. Tub spouts also not available, but were were not notified. They sent a substitution that was the wrong fitting type. We had to pay the plumber to come back three times. It was a nightmare. Read moreDealing with Ferguson has been an absolute nightmare. They only get one star from me because our appliance salesperson Tiana was good to work with. Without an appointment you can’t even walk into their “showroom”. When you enter the doors to their showroom, appointment or not, no one even looks up. They treat potential customers with complete disregard. Our contractor was amazing, they referred us to Ferguson. We ordered appliances, door hardware, kitchen and bathroom faucets, shower systems, and sinks. Outside of our appliances, not much was received correctly or in a timely matter. The communication is horrible and it is amazing if you can get anyone to return a phone call to correct mistakes. Their installers installed our range and wall oven incorrectly and it took from November until March for them to get here to fix the problems. Then they tried to tell me that the manufacturer warranty had expired and that we were to pay out of pocket for the installers mistakes. I will never buy another thing from Ferguson.
