Dollar General — Local services in Devine

The male manager is extremely rude. We went into the store at 9:45 and instead of being greeted with hello, he yells “you have 15 minutes!!” (which I just needed to grab a few things and was very aware of that) as we browsed for 5 minutes he came down the aisle jingling his keys and once again informing us we had 10 minutes. He proceeded to walk around yelling it throughout the store. I’ve had several issues with this same guy in the past being rude at checkout. The old manager was way better! I think we will take our business elsewhere and I’m sure others will follow if you keep this...

I enjoy shopping at all the area Dollar Generals, 4 within 10 miles or less. I totally disagree with all the studies that say they aren't good anywhere. They are GOOD. They have a wide variety of canned goods & frozen & refrigerated items. Not much on fresh produce, but plenty of canned, including "lite" & low sodium varities & carry name brands. Sometimes they are a few cents higher, sometimes not & sometimes i want a few things without the hassle of the Large grocery store...

Need work in the customer service with there employees. I've been in there a couple times and different times of the days and staff there are just not friendly at all and for get asking for help. There is even a elderly guy who works there i think he is one of the managers and its the same with him. I'll go across the street to dollar tree...
