I purchased a $60 bottle to gift to a friend. Upon opening we realized the cork was bad (dry rotted and powdered as soon as you took the plastic off and turned it). This means hundreds of tiny cork granules is in the alcohol, and the spirit not drinkable.
I went to the store to exchange/refund and owner said âI didnât make the alcoholâ. The other response was âhow do you know its badâ.
If you are a store of any kind, you are responsible for the products/service you sell. There is no trust between a customer and a store when they do not stand behind any product they sell.
