An interesting discount store. Somewhere between what one would expect at places like Walmart or Target and the dollar stores and discounters like Ollies.
It is a large store with lots of items. It ranges from rugs, clothes, and outdoor furniture, seasonal goods, electronics... to coffee, nuts, canned goods, snacks, and chocolates... many of them at very good prices and good quality. In other words good value.
The shelves are usually stocked with many things. In some cases the prices are not the cheapest but they are competitive. In others they are really good, especially specials.
It's a nice place to shop. The service people are diligent about keeping the place clean and stocked. The cashiers and system are good. Everyone seems helpful. Some narrow aisles can get cramped with big carriages.
Among my favorites items are the coffee selection, snacks and canned goods, and Portuguese sweet bread and rolls that come from Fall River Massachusetts.
If this appeals to you my suggestion is go visit once. Fortunately, it's seldom crowded...with easy parking just be careful driving through the Giesinger parking lot area ...it gets busy.
If you are in the area...
Read moreThis is an interesting place. There's usually a big variety of items. Prices are hit or miss. Usually you can get a very good deal here but sometimes things are more expensive. You just have to pay attention. We usually visit here for Christmas and birthday gifts because we know we can usually find some great deals and nice items. We also visit for food because they do get alit of different food items. A lot of things I've only seen on Amazon. Especially the international foods. They are also EBT friendly. During the holidays they do a great promotion where if you buy a coat from them and donate it to go to a Veteran you will get a gift card back for the amount the coat cost. It does remind me of a cleaner and more organized version of Ollie's. There's such a huge variety of items here that chances are you will find what you are looking for. Tools, clothing, food, makeup, toiletries, pet items, toys, shoes, blankets, bedding, medicine, electronics, purses, lighting, craft supplies, school supplies, rugs, etc....I mean the list goes on and on and on. Plus the staff has always been really...
Read moreThey need to do better pricing their items. I went there for a pool float. They had about 50 of the kind I wanted. None of them priced. I asked an employee if she could do a price check and she told me I had to ask a cashier. Not a problem but I had to wait in line with people checking out. I finally get my price and to be fair the float was a reasonable price. Back to shopping. I needed weed and feed. No Price! I didn't bother asking another clerk because I knew Amazon had a good price. Moving on... hey, there's a charcoal chimney I've been wanting to pick up. Wow, they have a bunch. Guess what, no price. Granted, there were plenty of price items. I checked. Unfortunately for me I didn't want any of them. The cashier was friendly when she checked out my pool float but I declined the loyalty card out of frustration. If you're going shop here give yourself some extra time for...
