I went in the store today to spend at least $200 in makeup and received no help. I was having a difficult time finding the two faced products, the Anastasia palettes, and a facial exfoliator. There was one other person in the store when I walked in who left shortly after I got there so its not like the store was busy. I was walking around half the store trying to find these products looking like a chicken with its head cut off. There was no employees in site, when I did spot them they were all upfront at the register talking to each other ignoring me. I finally found the Anastasia palettes and they only had a couple of the palettes stocked and it was a mess. I wanted to ask an employee if they had the Riviera palette in stock but of course they were to busy gossiping to each other to help me. Finally an employee clocking out of the store must of heard me talking to myself on how I needed help and asked me if he could help. I asked where a primer I was looking for was at. He was able to point me in the right direction but walked away right after that. When I went to check out it took a moment for the employees to realize I was waiting to check out at the check out line... They employee greeted me then checked me out while talking with her coworkers and ignoring me the rest of the time. I bought one item from there that I needed today. I put everything back that I did find myself because of I was so frustrated with the lack of assistance. Looks like i'll be going to another location or shopping online after the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to this Ulta hoping for guidance in creating a natural āno-makeup makeupā look, but I left feeling very disappointed. The associate did not properly shade-match me. The concealer I was recommended gave me a whitish cast, and the products chosen didnāt actually suit the soft, natural look I asked for. Instead, it felt like I was being sold items they wanted to push, rather than products that truly worked for my skin tone and goals. I went to Sephora after and they actually recommended some great products that worked better. I know Ulta has a huge selection so maybe it was hard for them to chose but Iād rather her tell me she doesnāt know that suggest things that flat out contradict the whole look.
On top of that, when I returned for a hair appointment with a clear inspo photo, the style didnāt match what I asked for and the curls didnāt even last the 20-minute ride home. For the time and money spent, I expected better product knowledge, honesty, and styling that would hold up outside the salon. This felt like I went to my aunts house for her to flat iron my hair instead of meeting with someone who is supposed to be an expert. I had to tell her how to handle my hair and they didnāt even wash it properly.
I donāt usually leave negative reviews, but I think itās important to share so others know that this location is not brown girl friendly in terms of product knowledge...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām a beautician, so I am very particular with my hair and brows. Elena for benefit is literally the best brow technician Iāve ever met or dealt with. She has taken me from crazy overgrown misshapen brows to super sleek brows that perfectly frame my face. Not only does she help with the way she does them, but she has taught me so much about how to maintain them longer in between services and to make them go from patchy to clean, but natural. I recommend her above all other brow techs and I tell all my friends to go to her. I live 45 minutes away and still only let her do them lol. I highly doubt you could have a single complaint about your experience!! I know Iām a difficult client, but not a single time have I felt that way in her chair. Sheās not only amazing at her job, but just a ray of sunshine!! Please give her a chance and say Emma...
