Perkins American Food Co. — Restaurant in Dickson City

I don’t even know where to start. The entire experience here was HORRIBLE! From the moment we walked in, things started to go down hill. There are two bakery cases just like at most Perkins. However, there was one completely empty. Not because they sold out of things, but because they were using one for what appeared to be storage. Then the seating area to the left was completely empty like they were only filling the right side on a Friday evening. There were a few tables clean and ready to seat guests on the right side and quite a few tables that still needed to be bused. I was thrown when the host told us there was going to be a 5 minute wait to be seated but I went with it. After 15 minutes, the host bused 1 of the tables and then immediately sat us there. The floor underneath our table was still full of garbage and silverware from previous guests. I then respectfully asked the host why it took so long to seat us with al the open tables and she snapped at me. She was very rude and said because it did. She then said a little bit ago that there was an hour wait. There is no way In hell I would ever wait at this Perkins for an hour with the nearby competition. Anyway, the waitress was polite but clearly had her head elsewhere. She forgot to put in our appetizer and never asked to refill our drinks. I overheard a couple nearby complaining about their food asking if it was made or reheated in a microwave. Then, my daughter needed to use the bathroom. The bathrooms are disgustingly dirty. The men’s room had urine all over the floor, on the toilet seats, garbage can over flowing, and the sink counter seemed to have soap scum all over it like a kid played in the sink. When we peaked into the women’s room in a last ditch effort for her to use the bathroom - it wasn’t any better in there. Long story short, I would not recommend this...

I've come here many times over the years and every single time I've come here. There's always an ant infestation. And I've come spread apart because I figured I'm not coming back here again because of all the ants. So I'd come back maybe like a year or so later thinking that the ant problem is taken care of and it's not. There's ants crawling up the walls and everything. It's disgusting. They need to clean properly here. Also came here for an order a couple days ago and I'm standing there. The waitress completely sees me and ignores me because nobody's at the front desk where they're supposed to be. Some guy came in after me and she sat him down without even saying a word to me which is kind of ridiculous. My order was there on the table (I didn't know because I didn't want to touch it In case it was someone else's and I didn't see a name on it) I wasn't sure if I was supposed to take it or not because they have no signs. So I stood there for about 5 minutes looking like an idiot because The waitress couldn't be bothered to tell me that my order is ready and sitting right there waiting for me. So we went here today for dinner. First you walk in you realize the air conditioner isn’t working properly. Then there is an unpleasant smell. The carpet is old and dirty. After being seated right next to another booth of people instead of being somewhat social distanced I heard the lady say something to the waitress about bugs. The waitress apologized and I looked in my drink to make sure no bugs were in my cup. ( sometimes that happens) Thankfully it was clear. Then they sat another group of people on the other booth next to us. Then we got our food. The waitress was supposed to bring ketchup but never did. I look up at the wall and there is a bug crawling around. I’m 98% sure it was a cockroach. I wanted to scream but didn’t want to cause a scene. So we uncomfortably waited for our check and got out of dodge. After we left My daughter said while she was sitting in the booth, she felt like something was crawling on her feet so she looked under the table and there was dirt and food all over the floor.
