Never had Greek food before, and while wandering for lunch, decided to try here. And my god, I wish I tried coming here earlier. I will never remember the names of what I ordered, but I can describe them.
To start, an appetizer of a feta cheese and hot pepper spread, with cucumber in it and hot pita bread on the side. Absolutely delicious. Another appetizer, described in-menu as just sausage. When it arrived at my table, it was in a still sizzling cast iron skillet, surrounded by onions. Instantly in love with it, more so when I took a bite of it. Still some pita bread left from the spread, I decided to scoop up the onions and oil with it. Amazing.
For the actual entree, a pork skewer. Could've gone for a gyro, but I enjoy just meat too much. And initially, wasn't a fan. Real chewy, tough. But as I kept on at it, slowly I found the flavors of the seasoning used, and slowly it began to just melt in the mouth. I legitimately hate myself for never having come here before for this food, and I hope anyone coming here ignores the 'American' part of this place, because the Greek food is utterly delicious.
And another nice note is the service, the staff that I saw were all nice as can be, and when I mentioned I wanted to try purely the Greek food, my server seemed to be delighted, repeating my butchered pronunciation with what I assume is the correct pronunciation with enthusiasm. She seemed to be as happy as can be that I was going for purely the Greek food, excited that someone was going to experience the food. Love that the staff is that dedicated to the experience of the food. Can't recommend this place enough, and I look forward to coming back to try more.

Absolutely adore the food and service. Fried cheese, meatballs, and falafel on my next visit. They flambeed the cheese in a cast iron pan in front of me. This alone is beyond adoration from me. The meatballs were absolutely dry as can be, but served with lemon, which I squeezed on after cutting it up, and mixing it with cheese on pita bread. Again, a gold star. Falafel, not gonna lie, did not like one bit, and didn't eat more than a couple bites. But the staff were beginning to insist to comp the food. Absolutely not, I ordered it, I pay for it. Not their fault it's not to my taste, I can tell it wasn't a messed up order. Just my opinion that I didn't like it is all. This is a gem of a diner that more people should come to, people who strive to make sure customers are satisfied. Can't wait for my third visit.

Addicted to the food here. Latest foods were another round of the sizzling sausage in a cast iron pan, along with spinach pie and lamb with orzo pasta. I don't know how much more I can recommend this place to enjoy your meal time at. Though I'll say the pasta was pretty poor, the rest of the meal this time, like most of my my other experience here, was fantastic. Especially noteworthy was I was recognized right away on my third visit, the staff is absolutely gold here. Immediately started jabbing at my opinions on food and what not to order again, being the falafel. It might sound minor, but in the moment, it's a fantastic experience to just talk about the food. The staff here really appreciate food, and seem to strive to make good service a standard. Despite being my third time here, it felt like I've come here dozens of times and the staff viewed me as a buddy coming in for a meal.
I've nearly finished off what food I would like to try from this menu, but now it'll feel odd if I don't come back just to keep eating the menu. An absolutely gold standard of staff and food, I cannot recommend enough how much anyone should ignore the typical fare and go for the Greek aspect in terms of food, and to come here in general for the unbelievably professional and...
Read moreI don't know what happened to this place, It used to be a fun, friendly atmosphere with good affordable food. Now its depressing, dingy and expensive. Where the only sound you here is the dinging of the microwave reheating yesterdays left over food.... Came here for the first time in a while, and we were shocked. Dining rom was near empty, that should have been our sign. Sat us at a table that was sticky and not clean, also was wobbly and uneven. Server was a young man who seemed like he couldn't be bother with us. Not unfriendly but not exactly friendly either. We ordered the Spinach Pie app, usually one of our favorites as its fresh and crispy and flakey. After hearing the obvious ding of a microwave the server brough us the dinner sized portion of the spinach pie...which was of course more expensive. We did say anything as we usually have left overs from here and like I said this is one of our favorites so we didn't really mind... Until we cut into it. Gone was the fresh, crispy, flaky pastries we loved. This was a soggy mess. clearly reheated and old. sitting in a pool of grease. We ate some of it and asked the server to toss it away. Next we ordered 2 gyro platters usually an excellent choice... The portions have gotten much smaller as I usually could not finish the platter and this time not only finished it but was still hungry. The pita bread was old, stale and rubbery, clearly also microwaved to warm it up. The meat was dry and crusty and not fresh at all. The salad was just a pile of lettuce with one piece of onion and a quarter of a tomatoes, and there was almost to Tzatziki sauce..
Also the prices have gone up dramatically what normally would have been a 30 dollar meal now was 60... for left over microwaved food served on a sticky dirty table by unfriendly apathetic staff.
This place has really gone down hill. Maybe try if they look busy and it would be better? but it seems like the owners have given up. What a shame, it will at the very least be a very long time before we try again. Very sad...
Read moreI have never been so impressed with a restaurant, especially in this area! Delicious food, huge portion sizes, friendly and knowledgeable staff, super clean and well decorated restaurant, and fair prices.
My party ordered a traditional lamb gyro and a chicken gyro after deliberating the large menu and narrowing it to a few choices. First of all, the gyros are absolutely giant! Loaded with MEAT and of course tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and the best tzatziki sauce I’ve had in my life. The meat was seasoned perfectly on both gyros and we later found out that everything is carved in house to order. The pita was warm, light and flaky and toasted just a little on the edges. After the gyros we took a look at the dessert case which offered so many tempting choices. We went with a slice of blueberry cheesecake; every single cheesecake was bigger than any other I have ever seen so we split one slice between two people. It was so fluffy and fantastic, I honestly did not even need the blueberries to enjoy it. I plan on going back in the very near future to order an entire cheesecake. I don’t recall enjoying a meal so much before in all honesty.
On top of the fantastic meal, our waitress was so kind and courteous to my family. She made my shy toddler feel welcome and happy, was timely with taking our order and bringing the food, and we never ran out of drinks. She answered every single question we had with genuine knowledge and passion for the traditional Greek dishes (including desserts) that are prepared in house and served at this gem of a restaurant. It was also one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve eaten at in Dickson City, including the restrooms. Overall it was such a pleasure to eat here and I want to thank the owners, the chef, and our waitress (so upset I didn’t catch her name) for giving us such a good experience. We will absolutely be...
