Belk — Local services in Dothan

Ok so, I use to NOT go to Belk over 10 years ago, but now, I can't stay out of Belk. Nobody does clearance better than Belk. The thing about their clearance is that the clothes are still so fashionable! You can wear them now or next season and you turn heads, you still have money left to shop the next day or week or two weeks. Yeah, the clearance keeps you coming back because new items keep popping up with each visit. Seriously, I went on Dec. 23 and was back there on Dec. 24 and found awesome pieces that I had missed or in a different size. Yep, looks like I will be headed back to Belk because I received a coupon for $15 off $75 from my Dec. 24 shopping trip and I'm sure ive earned a $10...

Dothan mall is on its way out. However, I shopped in Belks. I waited outside a shut gate for 30 minutes till 11am. They opened the gate at 11:15. Got inside did a few minutes shopping and had my arms full then I started trying to pay for my goods. Asked one man standing not doing anything. He said our cashier doesn't arrive till 12. Sent me over to cosmetics to pay. The poor girl there had a crowd. I had to go pick up my car. I put my finds on a rack I would go pick up and possibly pay and take it home. I didn't make it back to the store. I did call and told a lady where my items were. SHE FOUND THEM. I have paid for them and hopefully they will be shipping...

The Belk located in Wiregrass commons mall is a mess. There is never any assistance unless you are specifically looking for makeup where the employees make commission. The store manager is driving employees away with no regards for the stores success, stating things like "corporate says none of you are worthy of promotion" and doing her best NOT to work with her employees, despite having lost over 80% of the new hires and almost 20% of the long term (over 10 years) employees in the last year alone. This business desperately needs to replace her in order to move forward, otherwise this Belk likely won't be around much longer due to her...
