This is the absolute worse buying experience I have ever encountered! I came to this store in September to purchase a bed. Drove past hundreds of furniture stores because they were advertising a great sale. When we got there, none of the items we wanted were available so I was telling my friend we should go somewhere else. Abe steps in and says that we can order from the catalog for quicker delivery options, so we did. He said he would call the next day to confirm our delivery date. He did not, so the day after I called him and he said that he was off the previous day which is why he hadn't called. He supposedly checked our order status and expected our delivery to be in November. I told him this was unacceptable. He had promised an earlier delivery if we chose from the catalog. He said there was nothing he could do about it and said that everything was delayed because of COVID. I asked to speak to the manager. He said he would have him call me back. He did not. I called the finance company after weeks of this shadiness and told them I wanted to cancel the order. They said that I couldn't cancel but that they would call on my behalf. They did. Abe and the owner said I could come in and choose a different bedroom set and promised an earlier delivery. I went in and chose a different bed. Same results. By November - 9 weeks later, I still had no bed and no communication. I continued to call finally getting the next salesperson who I believe was Ray, but I can't confirm that said he would drive down to the warehouse personally and if my bed wasn't there he promised to deliver another bed of equal value that weekend. This did not happen so again I called the finance company and gave them the details but this time I was adamant that I was not waiting any longer and going to another furniture company. They finally agreed to transfer my credit. I went to Furniture Expressions had an excellent experience and had a bed delivered the next day. Never heard anything more from Douglasville Furniture until February 22, nearly 7 months from the date of my order saying my furniture was ready for delivery. Read moreThis coming from a real customer. Terrible experience. Giving some credit for low prices - 1 star. Went to a different store location and then called back to place a fairly significant order of 9K over the phone. Was not told that the order was placed in a different store location over an hour from our home and not the store originally visited 25 min away. At the time of the order we were told the order would take 2-3 weeks for deliver with the exception on one item. After 5 weeks, no furniture and no communication, we went to the original store we had visited and they had no record of the sales. After finding the location that the shady salesman (Abe) used we cancelled a portion of the order as we had no bed or table and needed the items ASAP. Delivery was finally made 9.5 weeks after the order was placed. (The excuse was COVID. That may be a reason, but what is the reason for that the lack of communication and transparency? It’s just how they operate) When delivery was made, items and parts were left out that required additional trips and days - net result was 10 weeks for delivery and terrible communication.
11 weeks from the cancelled portion of the order and still waiting on refund. Constant promises and delays. Manager actually said things have been slow and he needs to check with the accountant.

He was able to find us 2 recliners from a different manufacturer and they were delivered with the timeframe he gave us which was this week. We are very pleased with our new recliners and grateful someone could help us! (The recliners we originally ordered were manufactured by Ashley and that was where the delay was.)
I would rate this furniture store below 0. The most horrible furniture buying experience. I ordered 2 recliners mid- February and they are still not here. The last update I got, when I called, was the end of May for the recliners to be in. They have a no refund policy, only a store credit, so I am stuck with waiting.
