Casa Tequila Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Douglasville

Was visiting in Lithia Springs and wanted some tacos. I found this location and decided to give it a try.

The good: Everyone was very friendly. Inside was pleasant. I sat at a table in the bar area. Chicken taquitos were very tasty, big, and filled with chicken. I wasn't a huge fan of the white cheese sauce, BUT the next day, reheat...that cheese sauce slapped. The guacamole, fresh, chunky WAS THE BEST I've ever had. The next day...it still tasted fresh. Waitress was nice, friendly.

The not so good: I had wanted tacos, rice, and beans, so I also ordered the ground beef taco plate. Taco meat was really bland. I didn't think of the salsa and wish I would have asked or had been asked if I wanted any.

I also ordered 2 separate plates to go. Birria quesadilla and 4 corn tortilla tacos..2 asada and 2 Pollo. As the waitress was taking my order, I had to repeat a few times what I wanted... no worries, figured she may be new. She came back later to let me know that they made the tacos with flour tortillas, and was that ok. I had to say no because my daughter in law doesn't eat flour tortillas, so those had to be redone. When she brought out my food to go the birria quesadilla was in fact birria tacos. Not a huge issue, and I didn't want to have them remake it, but my son had requested a quesadilla. I did inform the waitress, and she said it was her fault... she wrote it wrong. No worries...I appreciated her admitting her mistake and not blaming the kitchen staff.

Overall; Would I go back...Yes. The food was good and the reheat of the food was really good. It held up well. I would go back just for the chunky...

I love Mexican food and margaritas. I mean what girl doesn’t right???? I’ve tried almost every Mexican restaurant here in Douglasville so when I saw the signs for this one I had to stop. Hands down, the best Mexican restaurant in Douglasville (the food). No other location even compares. I’ve eaten their chicken, beef, and steak and all dishes were delicious. The margaritas are amazing and gives you just the right amount of buzz to have a fun lunch with friends, family, or your significant other. The reason I took a star off is because I don’t particularly care for the nonchalant attitude of the owner (short male with blonde hair). I’ve been here 4-5 times now and to be an owner he never seems grateful or happy (MY honest opinion and experience). The order taking process has no emotion and sometimes feels rushed. As a new restaurant in the area, sometimes you have to fake it to make it. At least until your business has grown. I also had the opportunity to review some of the other reviews and the response from the negative reviews seems more combative instead of addressing the customers concern. The customer may not always be right but finding reasons to blame the customer for what they felt wasn’t a good experience for them didn’t sit right with me. I work directly with clients (50-100) and some days are better than most but it’s my job to still deliver the best customer service regardless of their attitude towards me. I’ll still frequent this place when I don’t want to drive outside of Douglasville for a delicious tamale. Respect my coins is all I’m...

Hi world, I have been going Casa Tequila Mexican Restaurant for the past 2 years. I walked in there on this day and see that there are new team members in the Restaurant. I ordered the same thing I order every week so that being said I know how to order my food. I get home with my oder and I'm missing a whole meal. The young lady rang my order up wrong and it was made incorrectly. I ask to speak to a manager and she comes back with Victor. I informed him of what happened so he refund my oder instead of preparing it correctly. He ranged up what I wanted the second time and it was a 5 cent difference. I'm guessing he don't have common sense. So I end up paying for 2 orders and now waiting for a refund from the first order. He told me I need to learn how to order correctly. He is not a good leader. When you have new workers you need to be up there helping them.so they can be successful but you in the back doing I don't know what. Victor go on YouTube and learn how to become a better manger and learn customer...
