My review is long af lol Customer service: 10/10 Food: 10/10 Music: 10/10 (especially after the DJ arrived) Environment: 7/10 (some areas are a little aged but that’s not a big deal for me... not like I live there) COVID precautions: 10/10 sanitizer EVERYWHERE temperature checks, tables separated, lots of floor space
Went on a Saturday around 7 (ended up staying until 1:30am lol) Michelle was our server she was super sweet and always checked on us. The general manager made sure we were pleased
Food was so good, I was full and still kept eating. 😭 after a short nap I turnt up with the DJ who was also amazing (lol I didn’t really nap but one would have been nice)
The jerk chicken was mild enough for my heartburn issues yet flavorful inside and out... you can request more spice (maybe next time when I have my tums) because I do love spice but spice doesn’t love me
The shrimp and crab dip was yummy if the consistency was slightly thicker it would have been 15/10! Blackened salmon and that magical spinach cream stuff was so good lol $5 fishbowls for happy hour had us struggling but feeling good... snuck up real quick though haha we live close by so it was cool

Read moreAs a neurodivergent individual, it's rare for me to indulge in different cuisines due to the need for familiarity with the meals that I chose. However, this evening, I settled to take a leap of faith and can attest that I am absolutely gratified with this decision.
The food was-zero over-exaggeration- one of the best Southern comfort meals I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Without a shadow of a doubt, one can tell that the chef and the rest of the team put their hearts and devotion into the meals that they lovingly cook.
To start, the Blackened Salmon was absolutely divine and well-prepared, bursting with rich flavors with a drizzle of Cajun sauce that added a pleasant touch of onion, garlic, and herb-like tastes. I am honestly so glad that I asked for extra sauce.
The creamed spinach was incredibly enjoyable, also having flavors of garlic and a dash of parmesan cheese that paired well with a fair amount of yellow rice. Lastly, there came six sweet, lightly charred, and deliciously caramelized Fried Plantains.

Read moreTo start, I was extremely excited to go back again after my first time I went a few months ago. I arrive around 4:05pm ready to order the jerk chicken & an order of ox tails to go. As the girl took my order, the manager stepped in to say they didn’t have ox tails.
In turn I ordered wings and jerk chicken for myself. My friend was with me. He received his entree before his salad which he intended to eat first. He had gotten a to go box before they brought out my jerk chicken. When the waitress came with the box I asked about my chicken. She apologized and said she didn’t know I ordered the jerk chicken (even though she had come to the table 20 minutes prior to say that my jerk chicken would be out shortly).
When my food arrived I had white rice on my plate and not rice & peas. No one had informed me they were out of rice & peas and I’d have to wait.
I usually really enjoy this place but this was a very bad experience and I don’t know if I’ll be returning. Granted they did comp my jerk chicken meals but the waitress left a VERY bad taste...
