I had dinner here expecting fine dining. What i got was food that was subpar quality and reminded me of the food served in the airplane. We ordered an appetizer and two entrees. Everything was disappointing. The duck was incredibly dry, the fish tasteless, and the vegetables from the appetizer were straight out a can. I could have also gotten a better green salad at 7-11. It's completely unacceptable for a restaurant to brand itself as a " fine dinning " establishment and serve you low grade food for what you are paying. I'm assuming they can get away with this because there aren't many options around to begin with. But as an international person who's been around, I was extremely disappointed with the pretentiousness of the prices compared to what was served to me. If I could give this place zero stars I would have. If they want to live up to what they consider themselves, they would need to hire good cooks and spend a little more money on good quality...
Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An unforgettable evening at Two Tannery Road! We had such a wonderful experience dining here. From start to finish, everything was exceptional—especially our server, Carly D., who was warm, sweet, and incredibly attentive. She truly made the night special with her kindness and professionalism.
The food was absolutely top-tier: the Roasted Duck and Nutty Vermonter were both standouts, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. We also loved the Scallop App and the Escargot à l’Alsacienne—elegant and packed with flavor. Every course felt thoughtful, fresh, and satisfying.
Even the little touches, like the Goat Cheese Salad and craft cocktails (Cucumber Collins, yes please!), were spot-on. You can feel the care that goes into everything here—from the menu design to the service.
We’ll absolutely be back. A perfect dinner in Dover. Thank you, Carly and...
Read moreWhat happened? So sad, this has always been our favorite in the area, we would take guests that came to visit, proud to have such a nice restaurant in our little town… sadly no longer the case… the food tastes pre-prepared, not very good at all… the escargot - the garlic tasted like jarred precut garlic, off flavor. The duck did not have that crispy skin you expect and want and the flavor was overall disappointing… my wife’s filet mignon was not a good cut, definitely not prime and in a sauce that she coined “inedible”. The up charge for the salads was extremely disappointing… we would have paid even more for good salads, but the Caesar didn’t really taste like a Caesar and the fruit and bleu was not like it used to be. Definitely will not be going back especially not at this price point. There should’ve been one stand out dish, but unfortunately...
