Marshalls — Local services in Downey

I love shopping at Marshall's. I never know what I'm going to buy when I go in there. There are so many things to choose from with great prices that it's difficult for me to get out of the store within my budget. Most recently I have been buying the Himalayan salt rock lamps from Marshalls. They have the best price of anywhere I've shopped for the Himalayan salt rock lamps. I bought a couple of the Salt Rock lamps that were color changing and I gave them to my grandkids and they absolutely love laying in bed at night falling asleep to the color changing Salt Rock lamp! The added benefit is that the Salt Rock lamps emit something that is beneficial to the, I'm sorry I can't recall what it is it's something something to do with eons I believe, but at any rate, I would suggest that a person might Google the benefits of the Himalayan salt rock, because it's helpful for my grandson's asthma! The “manager” with blonde streaks in her hair and a face like a pickle has the worst attitude I’ve ever seen, even toward her own coworkers. She’s one of those employees who thinks she’s running the entire company when she could be replaced in a second.

First issue I had with her was when I grabbed a 4-pack of underwear priced at $2 and she refused to sell it to me because she said it was the wrong price. What does that have to do with me? That’s your store’s mistake.

Then today, Wednesday July 9 around 8:20 pm, I watched her being rude and snappy to other cashiers too. Like calm down having her keys on her elbow like she’s somebody lmaoo

On top of that, I found a belt with no sticker, and instead of giving me a price they just tried to charge me the full original price from the manufacturer’s tag. What kind of nonsense is that?

Embarrassing behavior and terrible...

Update: their reply is total bs. You can see by other reviews my experience at this location has been the standard one for years. If they actually cared, they’d have done something by now.

Original review: It’s not worth coming here, even during a weekday. Six employees were behind the registers but there were two groups of two trying to figure something out. I waited in line 10 minutes before giving up. Only one register was actually finishing anyone and there were still about 15 people ahead of me. One cashier was talking to two other employees, perhaps managers, and then walked off. Neither of the other two replaced her. Customers should not have to wait in line...
